I used this hardware for a custom built-in cabinet I made for my customer. The installation was easy. If you have the skills to make a custom ladder, you will have no difficulty with the installation.

I built this rolling ladder for the pantry, I bought the 16 ft package with the ladder lower rollers included, I had to cut to size, which wasn't that difficult with a chop saw, everything showed up good and on time, my only complaint is the screws that come with the ladder upper and lower rollers, they are simple wood screws, I decided to use hillman 57148 black connector countersunk nuts and bolts in 1/4 in 20 thread, I also bought 1/4 in 20 all thread to use as rung supports with the same hillman nuts, you can see the attached pictures of the final product with all the extra purchased hardware for the rung supports and rollers.

I returned this because there was too much overhead clearance needed for my room. But these are solid rails. The install would be tough because it had lag screws which need some thick material to bite into and you can’t adjust. The rollers are smooth and silent though.

Opened the kit any 4 months after purchase. I saw I was missing a couple fasteners. I emailed the sellers at 7:00 pm on a Sunday. I heard back in 5 minutes stating the parts would be shipped the next day! Very impressed. The parts are all sturdy and well made. Excited to finish install.

These rails are not very stable even when you align them well. I had to rig an under-railing stop to make sure the top rais did not get bumped off the railing while sliding it.

Not worth what they’re asking for these wheels. Very simplistic design. No spacers to keep the wheels from rubbing the mounts.

Great ladder rail! I bought it for my tiny house and love it.

My husband's atelier has a sleeping loft. He had a ladder made from black walnut, and we ordered this hardware to make it like a rolling library ladder. The track is nice and long for smooth motion from one side of the room to the other.
