I've purchased 2 other sets that arrived without any issues, but this one arrived with one pan completely crushed to dust. The interesting thing is that this one pan was in the center of a stack so it was broken before being packed. I could return the entire set but it was slow to ship and arrive and I don't want to wait again.

Absolutely the best! They can be used with water. I bought the clear extender or Clear Blender as well.

I didn't think that there could be much difference between "dark" and, "extra dark" in this product line but it is very different. All the colors I've got are lovely and all things considered they are quite inexpensive. Just be sure that you use your own eyes to work the color. The descriptors are a bit confusing.

PAn Pastels are an excellent addition to any pastel artists inventory of art supplies. I did have a problem with the order and had to contact the owners of Pan Pastels and asked their help in receiving my order. It was sent, finally, a couple weeks after the due receiving date. But the pastels themselves are wonderful - less dust, the dust is a problem for me. I also think they are best used with regular hard and soft pastels. I have a lot of fun creating art with them, too. Love the spatula tools used with them, too.

I have many pan pastel colors but needed darks, love works no with them . They came really fast.
