Cloe 3.2 Ounce Alum Block

I was looking for an alternative to commercial deodorant. I've tried so many natural deodorants and can't use many of them because they have baking soda in them. Then I heard about alum. So glad I did! It works great as a deodorant for me. It's easy to use, inexpensive and it's lasted for so long I don't know if I'll ever need to buy another! Lol. I bought one for my son and he said it works great for shaving as well.

I had wanted to use one of these alum blocks for years but just hadn't, so I recently picked one up to check it out.First a little background. I'm a dude and I smell like a DUDE. I have always had a pungent funk after sweating hard and have been wearing deodorant and antiperspirants since I was 9 or 10. Antiperspirants really screw up my pores and in recent years have been wearing just deodorants to keep my pores open and perspiring as they were biologically made to do. I also tend to sweat a lot as I have a physically active job.The first time I used this alum block I was astonished. Yes, I was sweating as usual, but there was absolutely and completely *zero* odor at all! I could even smell the detergent my shirt was washed in, but not me! It was the most surreal thing I have experienced in a while. I've used it for several days with no issue, and the same zero odor effect. Amazing!If this block can quench my high-testosterone funk I guarantee it will do the job for you. Just as soon as I get out of the shower, I glide this block *once* under each arm. That's it, you're done and you're set for 12+ hours of zero funk. If you put it on later after you've sweated even just a little, you will have a smell.Something to keep in mind is that this little guy is slippery when wet. One way around that is to wrap a rubber band around it to give you a bit of a grip. Also, the alum block itself has no scent.I got this one as it was about the cheapest price on Amazon. It works, and I recommend it!

An alum block is a great post-shave secret. It tingles for a moment but it stops all-day razor burn and discomfort. This is a great value, a solid block (unlike another brand whose block is often ill-formed). It has no scent so it doesn't compete with any aftershave. The one drawback is it doesn't have a case for storage or travel. A small soap dish solves the problem.

But works good but it’s expensive

This product is very efficient, I use it as a deodorant and I love it because it does not stain and does not leave a smell. The only drawback is that it is too small, but despite having used it for quite some time, it has not been consumed.

I have mixed reviews on this product. You receive plenty of Alum for the price. This isn't soap after all. It does stop razor burn which is great. It soothes also. However, it's not nearly as effective as other Alum products at stopping bleeding of razor nicks. Seems like a minimum requirement. Still, it has other uses, so overall satisfied with purchase.
