Clarks Men's Bushacre Hill Chelsea Boot

Great looking boot. Seems well put together, good quality and fit. I've worn them for a month or so and they're just not breaking in. I tried leather conditioner to soften them up after a couple weeks. I'm sure in the long run they'll get there but until then it's 4 stars. Still recommended at this price point.

My first boot but I wore them 3 12hr days in a row and had zero discomfort or issues. Would reorder if I wore them out. With dress pants or khakis they look biz casual to dressy.

These are my second pair of these boots. My first pair are great and I decided to get this pair in one size larger. The only problem with the first pair is that the pull on tabs were unusable - I added a paracord loop - problem solved. for some reason the pull on tabs on this pair word, well, they worked the first time I wore the boots. The second time the stiching pulled out of one of them. I wore them anyway and decided to NOT send them back. Today, I fixed them for less than one dollar in about 1/2 hour. To be far with Clark' s, this has also happened to another pair of chelsea boots of a different brand. I like these because the do not have a glued together sole to come apat like most modern work boots. They could fix this easily if they wanted to.

I have not been happy with these boots. I have a pair of Astorflex suede chelseas, which I love, and wanted a leather pair to wear during wet weather. Unfortunately, I could not find my size (7.5) in the Astorflex, so I went with these instead. They failed to live up to my expectations.The main issue with these boots is the shape. For a chelsea, they are very awkward to get on and off. The hole at the top is not very wide, and rather than flaring out at the top to allow easy entry, these actually point inward at the top, so that the upper pokes into your ankles. From the top, the upper does not follow the curve of the foot and ankle at all, rather it slopes straight down to the top of the foot. This means that rather than flexing with your foot, the upper just makes one big crease right where it hits the top of the foot. This is both unsightly (one big crease across the top of the foot) and uncomfortable (pokes into the top of your foot with each step). Of the many pairs of chelsea boots I have had in my life, this is the only pair I have ever had that did this.Overall, these were a pretty big disappointment for me and I would not recommend purchasing them. Save up and get a pair of Astorflex or Red Wings instead.

I was really surprised to love this boot as much as I did. I had bought the same boot but in Beeswax leather, a few years ago. I thought I would like them, but when worn with jeans or khakis they just looked a little too much like my dads work boots, though not in the good way. They also never fit just right and I was pretty much declaring the Chelsea boot was not for me.Then I bought the suede ones and they completely changed my mind. I love them and they have honestly become my go to boot for work or casual occasions. The suede looks great with everything, especially in the tan color.

Boots fit and feel great. I did order a half size small after reading reviews and glad I did.The only problem I have is that the loop on the left boot broke on the third day or wearing them. It looks like the loop just wasn’t secured good.

Luckily I read the reviews before I bought this product. As you will read, it does fit rather large. However, I ordered a half size smaller than usual and it fits just right. The leather does break in and show flaws, but that is how the boot is intended to behave. It shows the character of the leather. If you are looking for a clean shiny boot, these are not for you. I happen love the way they look, and they are fairly comfortable now that they are broken in. I have no complaints with this boot.

This would be my second set of shoes that are just slip on like these. What I've found is the width is a little wider than a standard shoe with laces. I would recommend that if you wear a "9" then get an "8.5" to tighten up the width. The shoes its self is great, the material and build of the shoes are high quality.

Item looks like the picture, nice looking boot. Fits a bit big, not quite half a size too big but still a little room. After having worn them a few times they don't seem to be holding up too well. Creasing quite a bit, so much so that it looks like the leather has cracked in a few places although it isn't cracked. I don't feel they're going to hold up too well.

Very nice and comfortable shoe. This is my second pair, but this time around they fit almost a full size too big. Not sure what has changed in their manufacturing. Im a 9.5 in most shoes, these i feel like a 8.5us would be sufficient. Unfortunately they do not have a size 8.5 or 9 in stock. If you can get the right size i highly recommend these stylish chelseas.

nice quality, as one would expect from Clarks which is a major footwear retailer in the United Kingdom. lovely chocolately/charcoal finish which means they look great with blue or black jeans, can accessorise with brown or black. Wearing well so far, quite comfortable. Creases in the waxy finish appear with wear to soften the look. Best price we found online for these, shipped quickly
