I lovingly gave (Knit-pal Wool Wonders /4 gauge,Medium) 5 stars! This yarn is gorgeous and soft on my hands!I’m on my 5th Afghan (tulip) with this yarn and while it does come with a few tied knots, uneven areas, it is a wonderful blend of 30% Australian Wool and 70% Acrylic Yarn but single ply.I have used alpaca in the past on projects and it’s more expensive and has similar problems.I will purchase again!!My projects call for 5 packs of 4. That’s 20 skeins ofYarn put into my much loved family gifted blankets.Happy crocheting!!Jeanne

I was looking for a 100% wool yarn that was a little “bulkier” so I was a little worried that I would not like this blend (even though its price is so nice). No worries! It is soft and works very well. The final product has a nice luster without it looking like synthetic yarn. See picture! It also keeps you comfortable as one would expect with wool. Other reviewers noted end knots in the skeins but that happens with natural fiber yarn sometimes and in 12 skeins, I had it twice. I really don’t think this yarn has more issues than normal compared to other yarns I have worked with in my 50 years of yarn art.

It is a nice yarn which created a medium-heavy weight product. I made a hat which turned out well. The colors are nice and vibrant.

I love the color and texture. I did discover it is very warm, cozy and a bit heavy.

I love the colors of this yarn. However as I am working with it I am finding some yarn is nice znd thick and then it will get thin. If you give it a good pull the yarn comes apart easily. Hopefully the blanket I am making will last but I am not sure.

Purchased the wool wonders 4 paks in Sunset colors. Each skein was easy to crochet. Skeins in great shape, no knots or previous cut pieces reattached. Not much shedding as with other wool products. After working thru three skeins continuously over couple days, no irritation to fingers. Just a pleasure to see my Nauticral pattern coming together.I wish there were more solid colors to use with the patterned colors though that’s my only distraction from a perfect review.Quality is good for the price though I wish more 8 paks were available.Thanks for excellent product.

I feel so bad. I bought this beautiful yarn for a prayer shawl and I've pretty much been praying to keep my temper...it's terribly uneven. Knots. Ugh. But the most frustrating thing is the little white hairs everywhere. Looks like cat hairs. Pretty upset. Do not buy!

It is a weak yarn that is extra fuzzy and uncomfortable (think itchy sweater you hate). The ombré is good but it cuts off and on one of my skeins the yarn straight up was tied in the middle, throwing off the pattern.

I bought this to make a small project and when it arrived I really liked the colours and the way they blended so i ended up buying more so that i could crochet a blanket

The colour is very pigmented and the yarn is soft and workable. Worth the money and will use again.

The wool is ok but not as soft as described and does split as it's single ply. It knits ok but nothing special.This is nearly £8 for a single skein and definitely isn't worth it.
