Indispensable if you want to understand muscles
This book is indispensable if you're learning the connection about the muscles and how they work together with other, related muscles. The book also explains how to fix muscle-related problems. As an aspiring contortionist - this book is an absolute necessity. Highly recommended. One wish to the editor for a next version of this book - if feasible, please include colorful pictures. This is not a necessity - just a nice-to-have feature.

Good quick reference
I have been a massage therapist for over 13 years. This is a great book to use as a visual aid when speaking to clients about what is going on in their bodies. It is simple, direct and useful. It does not get caught up in medical jargon but is right to the point!

A good AMIT Bible for beginners
If you have heard of AMIT or Kinesiology and are interested in finding points of muscle origin and insertion so you can learn to turn muscles back on by yourself....You will LOVE this book. It also gives you the "action" of the muscle which is very helpful in testing strength. It is limited in it's coverage and only gives some of the main muscles. Worth the money for sure.

A great go-to reference guide.
This is a neat little reference book with straight-forward information on the muscles and what you can do to help alleviate certain problems. I've referred back to it a few times already since purchasing it. If you want a fast, easy, go-to book for information, this is a good one to have. Most instruction featured in it is in regards to self-massage and specific spots on the body/muscles to focus on. It also outlines what to look for if your muscles are not functioning properly. This is the main reason I purchased this book. And I'm glad I did.

Not very detailed
I expected a more detailed description of the muscles. It was more casual.

Basic knowledge book
I bought this book to learn the basic muscle groups and how they are used when in motion. This book is plain and simple, but put together well. It is exactly what I was looking for.
