Love, love, LOVE all the pockets and here's why....
I've seen a lot of negative comments about the pocket design on these pants, but I respectfully disagree with them all. I run a pet sitting business and these pants have been a HUGE GAME CHANGER for me. For the record, I'm female and cannot find women's cargo pants that A) are made to last and B) have pockets that are actually FUNCTIONAL. I needed something with enough pockets to store my essentials and allow my hands to be totally free when I'm out walking dogs, as I don't want to deal with a cumbersome purse, backpack or fanny pack when working. Particularly in 90+ degree temps, these pants area SERIOUS WIN to avoid uncomfortable and unsightly back sweat.Following are 3 elements that I like most;1) They have enough small pockets so that I can keep all my essentials SEPARATED NEATLY, which makes it a "quick draw" whenever I need to access anything. I've found I don't like the standard design of cargo pants with two single, large pockets on each leg because all my items "get lost in the shuffle." When I've got multiple dogs in my hands, I need to be able to quickly and accurately retrieve whatever specific item I'm trying to access. The multi/smaller pocket design is IMHO the BEST pocket design I've ever found, saving me time and the distraction of digging for stuff, keeping me focused on my dogs.2) All pockets have velcro closures opposed to button closures. This is all about functionality. Sometimes I have to run and I need a pocket that securely closes QUICKLY. I don't have time to be fiddling with an annoying button every time I need to open and close a pocket.3) These are durable but still lightweight enough for me to wear in high temps without completely sweating through them. Because really, no self respecting girl wants sweat rings on her butt or back. That's just gross.I use the pockets in a very specific way. Here's how;LEFT LEGThere are 2 small upper pockets (side by side) and 1 rectangular pocket underneath.UPPER RIGHT POCKET - I use this for all my I.D./credit cards. The size/shape of this small pocket is the PERFECT size for all my cards to stay in a NEAT, SINGLE STACK. In other words, it's just snug enough that prevents them from getting all shuffled up.UPPER LEFT POCKET - I use this one for my chapstick, plus mini tubes of sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Three small items fit neatly in a single, upright row. Again, another PERFECT fit.LOWER LEFT RECTANGULAR POCKET - This is a low pocket, so I don't want anything hard that'll rub against my thigh. This is the perfect space for my sunglass chamois (just a soft cloth) that I'm constantly using after getting wet, sloppy doggy kisses all over my glasses - perks of the job ;)RIGHT LEGThere's 1 large gusset pocket with a BUILT-IN smaller pocket WITHIN this large pocket. This smaller pocket is perfect to carry a small stack of business cards, an absolute must have (for me) at all times. The built-in pocket is clutch because;A) They keep my cards FLAT and prevent them from getting damaged by other loose items in a traditional larger pocket.B) Because the pocket is built-in, it creates a "second skin" around my cards preventing any body sweat from soaking into the cards. Gross, I know - and probably TMI. But this has saved me costs in throwing out soggy cards (wasting money) and the personal guilt I feel from throwing out paper products that were previously perfectly fine.My only complaint about these pants?? They don't come in enough colors!!***ATTN WRANGLER*** Please, please, please MAKE THIS EXACT STYLE OF CARGO IN MORE COLORS!!! I'll literally buy TWO of EACH color.USER TIPS:1) Unless I've gotten a particularly nasty stain on them, I usually wash them inside out if washing with other clothing because of the velcro on the pockets. Sometimes the pockets become detached during the washing cycle and the adhesive side of the velcro can damage fabrics of your other items in the wash. Although now I have so many of these specific cargos that I just wash them all together in a single load. Yup, darks and lights together. Once I've washed the darker colors separately a few times I don't worry about washing them with my lighter pairs. To date, I've never had a problem with the darker colored pairs bleeding onto the lighter ones.2) I recommend HANGING TO DRY after the first (or second) washing. This will help prevent shrinkage. I've hanged to dry for after the first two washings for each pair and have never had any issues with shrinkage.I hope all this info helps when making your choice. As with anything, pocket design is clearly a matter of different strokes for different folks. But since there were so many negative reviews I felt obligated to chime in to say that this design wasn't a total bomb for everyone, as it was the exact opposite for me. So if there are others (like me) who have very specific needs, then these pants may just be the perfect fit for you.

Nice
Just received these cargo pants. So I'll get the negatives out of the way first. The pants were NOT put into any sort of packaging, they just stuck the shipping label onto the clear thin plastic bag that the pants are sold in. Talk about advertising your items to anyone in the mailing system that is looking for a pair of pants to take, this is how you do it. The other negative is in regards to the thickness of the actual pants themselves, they are thin. I was expecting them to be a heavier duty cargo pants since they are "Wrangler", but I have noticed that the Wrangler Jeans are also thinner then they were years ago. But more expensive of course. All that being said, these pants are nice, but the one feature I do like is that there is another pocket behind each cargo pocket to easily drop a cell phone into. Or multi-meter, etc. I like the pants but am looking for something a bit heavier duty. For "dress" cargo pants these may due, but for cargo pants that are used as cargo pants I'll shop for another brand, not these.

I WANTED TO LIKE THESE PANTS SOOO MUCH...
...I mean the pictures showed so many cool looking pockets for all your accessories and then some. Great color, price was right and very cool looking. In anticipation I opened the package when they arrived and felt the fabric. It was a bit heavier then I expected, a good sign, and all those pockets, WOW, just like in the pictures. Slipped them on, went to button the waist and uuugh, tight, uncomfortably so. I have worn 36X32 pants since forever but these ran much too small. It was then that I felt that feeling in the crotch when there is not enough vertical room from there to the waist for my delicates... a real deal killer. Wished the fabric contained 2% spandex or the equivalent. I thought about returning these for 38's but they tend to run large. Why companies don't make a 37 waist is beyond me. Then I investigated the pockets and with my plus size phone in hand tried to find the appropriate place to slip it in. Alas none to be found except the largest of the lower cargo pockets which only just barely fit. Am I the only one in the world with a large smart phone? Come on Wrangler! In all fairness I suppose there are some folks out there who want a separate tiny pocket for their keys and another for dog treats and another for bags to clean up the dogs mess and another for their loose change etc. I prefer to travel on the light side which made me question why I needed a pair of pants with so many cool looking pockets to begin with. I really only wanted a place to slip my cell phone in then perhaps down the road I would come across something to put in those really small pockets. Life goes on but unfortunately, these will have to go back.

No Flex
Good quality cargo pants and no flex! The size is true. 34x32 is the size of the Father,6’1” 189 pounds. Will order more just be nice if there better variety of color selection like darker. So Wrangler if possible Let’s work on the coyote color. Just a thought.

very comfortable, but inconsistent
I own three other pairs of these pants - in different colors. They all look good, fit great, are sturdy, etc., etc., etc. So why not 5 stars?? One reason only: each pair is a different weight, and one is a different style, which is not indicated on the site. I bought a pair just like these last fall, and they were very lightweight - summer pants. Then I bought a pair of the khaki colored 'ripstop'. Those were not only super heavy - I mean really really heavy, but there was an additional seam near the bottom which made them a bit difficult to take up. A few weeks ago I bought an olive pair that was far less heavy than the ripstop, but still much more substantial than the original. then these, which I needed because I've lost some weight (yay!) which are back tot he super lightweight. What i think is going on is that the different colors are manufactured in different factories with different cloth - it would be really helpful to have that additional information in the description for each color, so people know what they're getting.

Great cargo pants
These cargo pants are great - I have 5 of them. They are light and very comfortable. Be aware, though, the sizing is not very accurate but once you figure out which size fits you, they’re wonderful. My normal fitting is W36/L30; with these, I go with size W35/L32.
