I have a larger version, but needed a smaller one for just the 2 of us travelling to Aruba. This worked out great. It was easy to place in our luggage. It was very easy to set up on the beach. We had several people walk by and ask us about it. Mostly, where they could get one themselves...AMAZON to the rescue. The quality seems to be good. I hope it lasts as it's easy to travel with and easy to set up. The trick is to stretch out the corners tight, then we used 4 poles (2 from our larger canopy in addition to the 2 that it comes with). It's perfect for 2 people, however I could see 3 squeezing in if need be. The pic is from Baby Beach. It was windy the entire week but wasn't an issue for the canopy.

easy to set up and portable. this canopy is perfect if you have kids or just want to stay out of the sun. great for the beach or camping or a picnic day at the park. strong canopy that blocks lots of sun and wind.

I used this for 2 weeks on FT Lauderdale beach.Pros- light weight, packs small , easy to fit in luggage, fits 2 people plus gear. Sets up breaks down in minutes by one person in light wind , good construction. Easily for in my backpack to go to the beachCons - harder to set up in winds above 10 mph. Easier with 2 people. The windier it is , the trickier it is.Hints- when you fill the corner pouches with sand, dig a hole and put the pouch in the hole. Don’t use yellow stakesYellow stakes - don’t work if used vertically , tie cord to center of stake , dig a hole 12in deep and put stake in hole horizontally , push stake into sand sideways ……then bury it ..works great that wayCord….has. Line tightened on one end. Instructions don’t tell you how to use it….tht end goes on top , use it to tighten cord.Face opening into the wind…..if this isn’t good for you, get the size with 4 poles. It can be set up any direction., but it bigger nd heavierIt takes a few tries setting it up and messing with it, in the end it worked great for usWe used it as a wind shield one day, just put sand on the lower end and it worked great ……I’d don’t mind fiddling with things so I’d buy it again,

This is a wonderful product. Just like you see in the picture. Fit all three us plus our dog. East to put up and take down. Great shelter from the sun. Light weifht

Difficult to set up for one person! Man or woman! A nice man on the beach offered his assistance and it was much appreciated! Once it was up it was okay. The stakes were not strong enough to bury in the sand! When I took it down it was difficult to get the poles apart because of the sand! I finally got all but one section of one pole apart, but I couldn’t get it in my bag to carry on the plane! I donated it to a charity Thrift Store!

Excellent quality, the material is excellent and the canopy is so sturdy. The size is perfect for my goddaughter to sit under and play in the sun at the beach. It gives her 100% shade. And very easy to set up. Takes less than 5 minutes to set up.

Purchased this to bring shade to beach like everyone else. I like the idea of having a compact bag that unfolds to provide shade. We also have a super unbrella but that solution is not compact; it does not fit in the car without putting a seat down to expand the trunk area. This stretchy spandex material works well to expand to decent shade. The down side is that it not all that stable with two poles and tie down stabilizers and stakes. I like the the kit come complete with a shovel, stakes and decent rope. Setup is tricky for the two pole. It requires all corners stretched to an even "X" and all the sand pouches to be completely full, then partially buried. The two pole setup is not wind friendly. With wind, the setup will be blown down. Cross wind or even direct wind will cause fluttering blow it down. Albeit, an umbrella would also have some challenges without wind flaps. An additional use for this is to take the material and drape it over mounted beach umbrella to extend the shade to one side. This works surprisingly well tying ends down or filling with sand. I have mixed feelings about this purchase as it can work well without wind. but I am not sure I can say I am totally satisfied. but I can it has provided some usefulness on a few trips and fits easy in a suitcase.

This canopy is extraordinary! I use it to cover my daughter’s play area outside and it is very easy to set up and provides a large area of shade. I have not used it for the beach but it looks easy to set up in the beach with the sand. The wind resistance for this is great and the bag that it comes with makes it all so easy to transport and set up.
