Such a cool toy, but stopped working within 1 hour of use.

First off this is not a kids toy that you should give them without assembling it first as you can see in my picture's it comes in a lot of pieces. Also don't try to put it back n the little box once you take it out I swear it will not fit. My 4 year old nephew was so excited about this him and his little brother love dinosaurs so I felt this would be a win whenever they were staying at my house. I wished it had came with batteries but that is never a deal breaker when most times I grab something like this I either have batteries around or order some at the same time. I did have to hunt down my small screwdriver though since you need it for this. I wish it had came with a remote or instructions but there really isn't you have to figure it all out on your own this is the reason I give it a 4 star instead of 5. The music and sound isn't super loud which is nice but the sounds do still get annoying after hearing them for awhile. Has pretty bright lights and looks cool when walking across the floor. The water thing I have no idea how to use but hey its good enough my nephew likes it and plays with it is all that matters. I would recommend it just be warned by my review as well as others on the few things you need to know upfront.

My three year old loves it. She’s obsessed with dinos and she is super excited about this toy.Warning it comes with zero instructions so you’re on your own but it’s not hard to figure out lol. Little too, you put the water in the hole on top of Dino’s nose where the hors are.I don’t expect this to last a long time cause it is kind of a cheap plastic but it’s definitely something to keep my little busy for a long time lol. Another warning, it plays one bethoven song over and over and over while screeching. It gets old QUICK but no worse than my kids other musical toys. It’s not extremely loud either.

So, this is a lot smaller in person than it looks online. You can see how the size of the box compares to a regular sized pen in the picture. I think it will still be a fun toy and I like that it will work for a range of ages. Older toddlers might enjoy taking the pieces apart and noticing how the gears inside work, while littler ones might just enjoy the lights, sounds, and steam features. I can't wait to see what my nephew thinks about it!

The media could not be loaded.  So this arrived yesterday, but it's been preying on my mind to open it and get it to work.Not everything you need is included in the box. It requires 3 AA batteries, but hey, it's the Christmas season so I stocked up anyway. It needs a small Phillips screwdriver, which you probably have for glasses or electronics.Everything else is in the box. And on the box-literally, the instructions are shown on the box in the first picture with the blue winged tyrannosaurus. No other instructions, just the pictures, and a couple of mysteries. What happens with the little squirt bottle?It comes in 10 parts which join using finger screws. It might be a challenge for three year old fingers but the only real danger is the case of giggles that a kid would have putting this together and turning it on. I include a video of a five month-old puppy to illustrate this.Flip the switch to the center position and the lights come on. Flip it to the right and it roars, says words I can't understand, walks, flashes lights, and plays chamber music. That tune that plays in movies when the hero enters the classy dinner party. I laughed, and you can tell the puppy is a music aficionado. A few directions with what to do with the squirt bottle would be appreciated, but I'll have fun playing with it.

The media could not be loaded.  Assembly is quick an easy. You will only need a screwdriver for the battery compartment. Everything else screws together with your thumb. The smoke is a nice effect. But you will have to listen to the music for it to blow the smoke. And there is no volume knob. The dinosaur also moves and you cannot turn off the movement for the smoke to blow.It looks like it use the same transducer as used in a humidifier. It is safe to touch and there is no heat. it does not leave any water droplets when it blows smoke. It is just water.Pros: - Blows smoke - Lights up and moves - Sings classical musicCons: - It will only blow smoke if it moves and sings - No volume knobOverall it is an interesting toy. I have not seen this type of toy before. Your kids will love the smoke blowing. The music and movement maybe not. Assembly is quick and easy to assemble or disassemble.

Assembly was tricky as plastic bolts did not line up quickly when putting toy together. Three or four year old would need some assistance with bolts. Rest of dinosaur very easy to assemble. So fun to see the rotating blue, green and red lights. The music was pleasant and volume perfect. Roars realistic. Watching the gears move the legs and arms so fun to watch as well. Excited to give to our 4 yr grandson for Christmas gift!

Easy to put together and cool bright lights. I love the smoke that comes out of the dinosaur mouth! That is something I’ve never seen in a toy before. Thank goodness we have wood floors because I think if this was on carpet it would not be able to move that well. My kid loves it.
