Made from 100% virgin food grade plastic. This comes in the most popular medium size holding 2.5 Gallons. “Why blue?” you may ask. Because this is special! It is a product that stands out from everything else on the market, hence the special corner access system is patented, and we want it to stand out visually as well. You can use it just with the corners open, with or without corner caps, or you can also add central access. If you want the bees also have access through the central chimney you will need to drill the size holes you prefer. We recommend 1/2 inch. Some beekeepers like large holes, some smaller. The choice is yours. Again, you can choose whether or not to use a chimney cap to protect the bees from drowning in the syrup. You will need a wooden rim to support the feeder. We supply these too.

Top Hive Bee Feeder
My feeder seems to be working fine. It came on time and was packaged safely. I had to paint it to match my hives but I filled it with bee feed and they can get to the feed and they love it.

Excellent feeder.
This feeder is engineered by individuals who know bees! Great design and construction. Not cheap plastic, but sturdy and well made to last. I only lost a few bees, but that was my fault for letting the water-sugar mix get too low. Thanks, I just ordered another one.

Good feeder bad frame
Like the product except the wooden frame. It is like a quarter inch off on each side. My hive is a standard 10 frame langstroth so I don't understand why this wouldn't be built to match it.

arrive damaged/broken but box was in good shape so it was shipped that way
contacted the manufacturer with images of the broken parts while asking what can be done for broken trays and never recieved a response.

Feeds the bees!
Works well, but starting to have an issue with mold growing on the lid above it. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue or has a solution.All in all it feeds the bees and keeps them from drowning themselves. If there is feed in the Ceracell you need to be careful when lifing it as the feed will shift and can trun into a big issue if your not ready for the weight change.

I can't say that its any better than other top feeders, but my bees seem to like it just fine.

Save your bees from drowning!
No more drowning bees! I’ve tried multiple hive top feeders, including the “improved” Mann Lake. Hundreds, sometimes thousands, of bees drown in the others. This one doesn’t have that problem. Holds 2.5 gallons. Easy to clean. Can also be used as a candy board in the winter. I highly recommend it!
