I looked into beard straighteners and found this one. The main reason I chose this one is because it is wireless and USB rechargeable. My plan was to take it on a cruise and I did not know what type of power outlets would be available, but I knew I would have access to a USB port. The device has three heat settings and everything is controlled with a single button. It takes the device 2 or 3 minutes to heat all the way up -- when the light stops flashing, it's ready. On the lowest setting it mostly straightens my beard and on the highest setting it will really have that "it's been straightened" look! Be sure your beard is dry before using it because if the hot part hits wet hair it'll instantly create steam that'll burn your chin. Been there, done that. I am slightly disappointed with the charging and battery. The device is only good for 3-4 uses before it needs charging. Also, you cannot use the device while it's charging (it won't turn on) so if you wake up and want to use it and the battery dies you can't just plug in a USB cable and use it. You have to charge it for 5-10 minutes first and then use it.
