Happy customer
The sound is very clear on both ends. The headset was received promptly, packaged well, and looks exactly as pictured. It is light-weight, comfortable and appears well-made. It is a simple headset without any extra features and cannot be disconnected as some can. There is a 6-month warranty from the company, a fact I learned by e-mailing them. -- Their Customer Service is unbelievable. I e-mailed them just after midnight on Saturday night. Received an e-mail stating they would contact me Monday. That reply and a couple others were received within a couple hours of my e-mail, and were very courteous and helpful. The only con is a shortage of information and possibly a language barrier. The “manual" is a one page set of instructions written in very small print (7-8 pt type). A couple of the settings were not clear to me, and I contacted them by e-mail with immediate replies. They first e-mailed me a copy of the "manual," I downloaded it which made it easier to read, but no easier to understand. The second time they answered my questions specifically. To assist anyone else, here's the info I received:1) Set 2 says Local Code meaning the local area code.2) Set 3 refers to a PCODE and says to “Choose the right mode according to the different PBX in the world.” – If you were using this phone on a PBX switchboard which required you to dial 9 for an outside line, you would need to set 9 as the PCODE. I'm using ATT U-verse service plugged into a regular phone socket and mine is set for 0.3) Set 4 refers to the Auto IP. Apparently this refers to calls placed through the internet. I do not use this feature.4) There are no batteries required, which is great, but don't set up the phone until you plug it in. - I moved it after setting it up and had to re-do all the settings. The price was cheaper than any others, the sound is great, and if you have patience to set it up, you should be a satisfied customer.

USB Headphone Conversion
I bought a USB conversion cable from RJ9 to USB type A and then bought a USB Type A Female to USB Type A Female connector to be able to use my Turtle Beach P12 headphones and mic on this phone instead of the headphone provided. If you have a USB headphone that you prefer to the one that comes with this phone this is the way to connect it to the phone.QianLink USB 3.0 Adapter,[2-Pack] Aluminum Type A Female to Female -Connector Converter Adapter,USB 3.0 (Coupler Female to Female Adapter (Blue) - Not the exact one shown in the pictureSennehsier USB-RJ9 01 Headset Connection Cable: RJ9 4/4 Plug - USB plug, for Direct Connection with an UI-Box at USB port of your ComputerTurtle Beach - Ear Force P12 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - PS4, PS Vita, and Mobile Devices (It looks like the newer version does not have a USB connection end.)UPDATE: This does not work because USB devices need a driver downloaded which you can't do with this phone.

Just Buy It, BUT read my NOTE
I'm giving this 4 stars because it has caller id, but even with the caller id functions turned on through my provider the phone doesn't show the incoming callers. I've been using it regularly now for 2 weeks. After reading all the other reviews I'm waiting for for the headset to break. The headset does feel fragile so I'm taking extra precautions when using it. I put it on my head properly and when I'm done I place it in the holder - which is nice. The sad little scrap of plastic looks like it wants to break if you just set it on the table. The ringer is terrifyingly loud. Even on low it's still kinda loud. The noise cancellation does work, but I wouldn't test it against a siren across the street or anything. I work in an old old house to there's virtually no insulation. I can hear the birds moving through the bushes the walls are so thin, with that said the noise cancellation cancels out my neighbors barking dogs and even my own barking dogs who stay on the other side of the house. I have a beagle and a husky. They are loud, especially when howling at sirens forementioned sirens which happens a lot.I do plan on buying the exact same product as a back up. It's so affordable and works like a charm - minus the caller id function. The buttons are easy to see and press. The headset is only for one ear, but the mic can rotate in a full circle so you can switch ears - not that you need to rotate it the full circle. Like I said use caution and handle with care. The head piece does NOT adjust, but the ear piece kind of does - not sure if it's supposed to or not, but it does make a huge difference for comfort. It's a padded earpiece and the little plastic rectangular piece on the opposite side is also padded. I wish it had a higher volume control, but I'll probably just buy a headset with that. Everything you need to make this device work is in the box.***NOTE***This item is not shipped through Amazon UPS. I signed up for AMAZON Prime in order to get it in 2-days and it took 4! That is because the seller shipped it via USPS (united states postal service). USPS is horrible. They will LIE to Amazon and say they delivered it on time when really they deliver it 2 days late. If you need this item within 24-48hrs be aware that you may not get it in time.

Excellent phone for working from home
I work from home and have to take several calls per day. This phone is compact, comes with a headset and all you have to do is plug it into the phone line. It has a very clear sound and great volume. It's perfect for working from home. As for the headset, it plugs in neatly into the phone and also has excellent sound. My preference, however, is a binaural headset and I found a really good one made by AGPtek, the phone manufacturer. It was very reasonably priced and it was just what I needed.
