I’m only giving these lights 4 stars because they trigger the fast blink which usually indicates a bulb is out. It looks like there is an LED relay that will fix that. Otherwise they are great, and a direct replacement for the Jeep TJ. Really bright, and easy to change out, even though i had to remove the license plate light to get a socket on the mount bolts. At least you don’t need to get inside the vehicle. You will need to use a mount bolt for ground, the original metal housing provided ground on the stock lights.

Looks great , much brighter than my stock lights and they look a lot better even when they are off.

It was such an easy install on my 2000 TJ. They looked great!

I was so excited to find a set of LED tail lights to install before winter. I'm online usually all night searching for Jeep parts. To find a pair for a little over $20 👍and they look great.

I only gave (1) star because you could not give "zero" stars. I did not expect this to be factory built but I expected much better than this, poor quality, flimsy, did not come with connectors, the holes for mounting were off centered, if I had not needed these for a trip, I would have returned them but no time to order another pair. I would not recommend these with all the other options available. Cheap Chinese junk which is typical of Amazon these days.

Our older Jeep is a 2006 Wrangler Unlimited. The light fixtures are original, the seals leak a little, and the bulbs sometimes corrode. I have to take them apart about once a year to clean the contacts on the bulbs and sockets.These replacement fixtures are a direct replacement. They look good, and fit properly. I had already replaced the front turn signals with LEDs bulbs, which required replacing of the flasher relay. This fixed the hyperflash issue that's caused by swapping LEDs for incandescent bulbs. Consequently, I didn't have that issue when installing these fixtures. The problem had already been addressed.Nice product.

Directions were crap. Pictures of the wires won't cut it. Complete waste of money.

Most of these generic "RV, trailer, and jeep" tail light options are sealed units, with studs out the back that you have to thread nuts on. Jeeps (TJs at least) have threaded nuts integrated into the body, so using stud-mount tail lights would involve drilling those out. Since it's very much less convenient to have to remove body trim to get to the back side to thread on nuts, I was looking for an option that allowed for the original hardware to be used from the outside.These meet that requirement, which is nice. The plastic is unbelievably cheap and even when fully tightened down, are so flexible that they seem loose. Not sure how long these will last, but for the moment they'll do the job.They're LED, bright, and mount properly. Since I've relocated the license plate, I didn't want the down-facing plate illumination. I just snipped the extra ground wire going to the down-facing LED bar inside and that solves the problem.
