Five Stars
Really good story, great Thunderbolts stuff that finally returns to form after a years long slump from issues #51-99.

Some how I missed this one
It's part of the epic civil war series. The more of these you read, the more it all makes sense.

great side story to compliment civil war
I thought the ending to this story arc with Baron Zemo was great it climaxed right AFTER the civil war unfortunately but it wasnt included in a paperback which was disappointing but if you get this paperback all you need is issues #106 107 and 108 whick arent that hard to find (its worth it). I wouldnt recommend this if your just looking for a civil war tie in there isnt very much on that end but more if your looking for a different type of marvel book to follow that actually stays relevant to Marvel's continuity down the road (secret invasion, dark reign)

great
Love the thunderbolts and the Zero arch. Great read, doesn't add a whole lot to the civil war series, but I recommend it none the less

Civil War: Thunderbolts justice like lightning
The superhuman registration act has been signed into law - sides are being chosen - but what side do our former villains fall on? Well... their identities are already public knowledge - and they sure can get good publicity by hunting down renegade heroes, so... time for the T-Bolts to kick some spandex butt! Plus: Zemo and Songbird? When did that happen? A new base, a new mission statement, and a new outlook face the no-longer-new Thunderbolts! But why have so many Thunderbolts agreed to Zemo's plans? What role does the Grandmaster and his "Squadron Sinister" play in the gambit? And can there be anything worse than having the fate of the universe lie in the hands of Zemo? We're thinking, yes... but wait until you see whose hands our fate does lie in! Collects Thunderbolts #101-105.

Marvel has dug in their claws
So I had been away from comics for a long time, and was intrigued by the civil war story. After I had bought the civil war tpb, I wanted more. The Tbolts were the first tie in I bought, (the only tie in in stock at my bookstore at the time) and once I began to complete my civil war collection, I began wondering what happened with Zemo's game. The only character I was even remotley familiar with, and all i knew was that he had beef with Captain america. I found the art to be exceptional, and wasn't particularly lost, I found that once they tried to explain the back story in the first issue the writer promptly got into the current (at the time)story without having to go back and reference things. I'm currently waiting on my next couple of tpb's from the tbolts, and as of this time plan on making them a regular.

snore.
Of all the civil war tie ins, this is one of the least involved with it. Its not the fun new thunderbolts team with Bullseye, Venom and Green Goblin. Most of it seems to tie into past thunderbolts storylines which i knew nothing about because i don't care about Baron Zemo or the rest of the boring thunderbolts. (radioactive man, and so forth). I'm not saying that the past thunderbolts comics were bad, i just haven't read them and this book didn't do much for me as far as going in depth with a look at the forming of a new team rising from circumstances of marvels civil war line.I'm sure Baron Zemo fans everywhere love it though.

Really good story line
For the most part the characters in this book are unfamiliar to me. I had been out of comics for a long time and rescently got into the Civil War story line in Marvel and the Justice story line in DC. So I am not familiar with the Thunderbolts or Helmut Zemo. I am familiar with the Gamemaster from the old Infinity Gauntlet story line from the early 90's. While this story does touch on the Civil War, it appears to be mostly setting up something else big to take place post Civil War.The writing is mostly good and the art was really good.
