Great Thermostat with a clean look.
This thermostat paired easily with my Z-Wave.Me usb stick connected to my Raspberry Pi3 running Home Assistant (0.45.1). I am able to remotely control and monitor the thermostat. I have not setup a schedule or any home/away automations yet but I have confidence the thermostat will do what it is commanded to.I did not have a live "C" wire at my old mercury thermostat, but there was a spare wire in the bundle. I climbed into the attic to look at my carrier air handler (CAUTION - TURN POWER OFF FIRST). The other end of this spare wire was available there which, with some googling for wiring info on my unit, I hooked into the "C" wire of the air handler. I went back down to the thermostat wires after switching power back on and confirmed 24v between the "R" and "C" wires with my multimeter. This will power the CT100 Plus without the need for batteries. Powered the Air Conditioner off at the panel one more time. Wired in the new thermostat. Threw the breaker back on and it fired right up with a little beep.Went into Home Assistant and put it in inclusion mode. Walked back to the thermostat to put it in pair mode. In about 10 seconds it showed that it was linked up. Restarted Home Assistant and I had all the entities related to the thermostat. I grouped them together and made a nice pane to keep it organized (see pic). All in all I'm very happy with this thermostat. The install and pairing were easy once I got my "C" wire squared away. It can run on battery as well so don't let the absence of a "C" wire deter you. In the event that the smarts of your home go down, this thermostat still functions as dumb programmable thermostat. Clean look on the wall with a white backlight when touched, although the touchscreen is not very sensitive once the cover is installed. You shouldn't need to interact with the physical unit once it's up and running though.a couple features I like- temperature AND Humidity sensors- screen can be locked to block unauthorized access- swing temp is adjustable- flexible to multiple HVAC system types- still functions if your smarthome controller goes down- no cloud connectivity- decent size so it should cover up where your old thermostat wasn't painted

So far, so good.
So far, so good. I have been having trouble with my older z-wave devices but all of my newer "Z-wave Plus" devices are working. Sometimes it does not show the correct temp on my Vera Plus, but I have always been able to control it. Oh, also has humidity display on my Vera UI7 software that seems to be accurate. Looks good too. I'll update this review later if anything changes......I purchased a second one for the bedrooms. I had trouble including it in my Vera Plus UI7 system at first, but then I decided to exclude it and then do a factory reset. After that it included just fine and communicates so far without errors to a controller that is a good 60-70 ft. away. Still a fan...

Can not return a defective thermostat
I ordered 5 of these thermostats for new construction of my home. They were installed after the return window as contractors had not finished electric/HVAC. When installed I saw that one unit was a CT100 but a different model from the other 4. This thermostat will not work remotely and the touchscreen does not work either. I have changed batteries twice and had the HVAC technician look as well. It simply does not work. Now I can't return a $100 item that was defective from the box because it was not able to be installed until after the return window.

Wiring connection at the top is a problem
Thermostat was easy to pair with smartthings and works fine. The only thing I don't like is that the wires come in at the top of the thermostat instead of the middle. This caused the hole in the wall to be visable.

Seemed good at first, but it's junk.
I've been eyeing these thermostats for a few weeks as I reasonably new to home automation using a Homeseer controller, and these are my first Zwave devices. Overall I am pleased with the unit and it achieves my goal of being able to control my thermostats via my iphone from anywhere. Here are some comments on my expereince:- Instructions are all online and all bundled into one pdf. They are reasonably clear throughout, but should probably go through another revision by a tech writer. Some of the instructions are vague or do not give you enough detail to carry out a task (or describe the feature/function). As well, the document is littered with reference links which may be non-existent in some cases- Installation was relatively easy for me, although it would've been nice to have some help understanding how to determine what type of system you have (one stage, multi-stage)- I would've like to have had the bus panel (the item you connect the wires to and screw down) located somewhere other than the top of the unit. It makes it difficult to cover up the hole in the wall for the main wire coming from the unit.. You can do it, just have to be sure you mount the unit at the right level.- Operating instructions were reasonable, but had to read through a few times. I still cannot understand the meaning behind Heat/Cool/Auto- Could not find some things detailed in the instructions - how to set the filter counter, recovery section- Touch screen was not as responsive as I had hoped. I often had to touch the screen many times to get where I wanted to go or set things. Once it's setup tho, I do not expect I will need to interact with the unit much as I will be using my home automation system- Zwave pairing was super easy even for this first-timer- They claim the units are calibrated form the factory but each of the units I bought are off based on other thermometers (and old thermostats). Downstairs was off by 1.5 degrees and upstairs by 2 degrees. Thankfully they allow you to adjust the calibration to +/- 6 degrees in either direction.Again, I'm pleased with the units (only had them in for a day now) and think they will do the job once I tweak everything I need. I programmed my upstairs unit through my HomeSeer (based upon the kids school schedule) and it was a breeze and so much faster than any thermostat interface I've ever used. I'm prolly also going to have it send me alerts on some high/low temperature boundaries, and may eventually tie it all together with my alarm system to adjust the temp when we set the alarm away, and return temp when we return to the house (assuming we are gone for say more than 4 hours).UPDATE 4-28-18: I cannot recommend these thermostats to anyone. I was able to pair them easily when I first got them, but really from no help of the company. I emailed and called them several times as the documentation I had (which came from a zwave site, not Radio's)was unclear. You cannot find the documentation on the Radio website, and forget trying to ever get in touch with them. Nonetheless, I gleaned enough info form other Radio CT models to help myself through most of the navigation. My main issue with the devices is they often times become unresponsive to my zwave controller. I think this occurs when the yellow light is flashing, which happens randomly, but I am not certain. As well, they do no auto report to my zwave controller, so I had to force manual polling to get core data points like operating status, temp, humidity, etc. The interface on the devices is less than intuitive, and without any documentation, you will be stuck. My advice is to go find a better stat.
