Excellent kettle for Pour over coffee as well as a variety of tea
I am an avid coffee drinker but have had to cut back in recent years. This makes it imperative to me to have a good quality brew. I have tried many techniques and have come to enjoy the pour over. This pour over kettle is excellent. I appreciate having the various markers on the thermometer to know when the water is the perfect temp for coffee. I also use for it for brewing teas, which also require certain temps based on the type of tea being brewed. Excellent buy.....and over the top customer service! It's a great company to work with!

Adequate
This is advertised as brushed stainless steel but it feels more like aluminum. Assuming it's a very thin gauge stainless. Very light, the top is small so hard to get my hand in there for a good cleaning. The bottom developed small water and rust spots very quickly (I know this can be common, but mine seemed to happen very quickly). It's not a terrible product but there is better out there for similar price.

Thermometer is cheap and arrived broken - replacement is innaccurate - now it is rusting after 1 month
UPDATE:Back down, now to 1 star for the product (with a 1 star bonus - see below) - thermometer seems to get more and more inaccurate and now there is rust on the outside that just will not come off no matter what; it has been 1 month.Extra star because customer service is excellent and they are speaking to their manufacturer about their thermometers after seeing my review.-----------------UPDATE:4 stars - I received a replacement and this one seems to work perfectly fine. I think the thermometer is slightly off by about 5-10 degrees, but this isn't science we are trying to perform here.... it is for brewing coffee... it works :)---------------2 stars - The kettle itself looks to be built very well - no complaints there. This is the only reason I gave it an extra star. However, the thermometer looks and feels cheap. Not to my surprise... it did not work right out of the box. If I tap the gauge, it jumps around wildly.

Good kettle, handle gets a bit hot
Good kettle, handle gets a bit hot, and somewhat small if you want more than two big cups of coffee or tea. With the price tag, it is a good buy.

So far, it seems really nice!
We've been boiling water for tea in a small saucepan for years but my husband mentioned it would be nice to have an actual kettle a while back. I've been keeping my eye out for an all stainless kettle (we've had poor luck across the board with enameled products) and one that's not too big either as we have a small kitchen and almost never make more than 2 cups of tea at a time. After reading through the descriptions/reviews on numerous similarly designed kettles online, I went with this one for several reasons--The sellers sounds like a small business/team, which I prefer to support over bigger companies when possible. It also, from the description and their website, sounds like they put a decent amount of thought into the design of the kettle. Just because products look similar does not make them function similarly and I'd prefer a product someone put some thought into working out the design flaws from. Usually it'll last longer and function better than the junk they churn out as quickly/cheaply as possible designed overseas with planned obsolescence in mind. I know this was made in China, but at least it was designed in our own country!-Unlike other similar kettles with thermometers that just show temperature, this one has easy to understand labels for different teas/coffee that require different temperature water for best brewing I guess (?). We don't really need a thermometer but if theres going to be one, might as well be one that's easy to understand so we'll actually use it as intended.-Purely cosmetic, but I like the light grey color. It's still a nice, neutral color but also is just a little different than your standard black you'd expect on this kind of product.I haven't had the kettle yet long enough to judge it's long term durability, but some things I noted upon receiving it-- The rivets holding on the handle are larger than I've seen on many other inexpensive products made in China. Seems they will make it less likely for the welds to snap over time/use.-The plastic part of the handle is screwed onto the metal, not glued on meaning if it loosens it'll be simple to tighten back up.-The thermometer, as the most likely thing to break over time/use, should be easily replaceable with either another thermometer or even a plain knob.-Water heats quicker than in a pot, but I have not owned another kettle like this thus have no comparison for how fast/slow it is compared to other kettles.-Nice, classic look and compact. It blends in well with our kitchen and doesn't overwhelm the stovetop. It also likely won't be an "outdated" look/color etc... in a few years time. Also unlikely to start looking tacky as there is no enamel to chip off.-The spout does indeed pour very smoothly. MUCH better than pouring boiling water out of a pan, or more traditional style kettles if I remember back to the one my mom has.

Working well so far
Great little kettle, does the job. Have had it for a few months so far with no issues (daily use). The base is small so it works best on smaller burners. Thermometer is nice and lets you know when it is the right temperature. We live at 7000 feet now and it turns out that water boils at the exact right temperature for coffee at this altitude, so we didn't really need the thermometer after all! There is no whistle but the top rattles a bit when it boils so as long as you're not too far away it gives an audible indication that it is done.

seems good so far
Good looking kettle, easy to use, reasonably priced. The integrated thermometer is a nice touch. I haven't gotten to use it much yet, but I think it will accomplish much the same as any other kettle while being a little more attractive at a better value.
