Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos Hardcover – Picture Book, September 5, 2017

I love this item. I have several Frida Kahlo books for children, as I am a Spanish teacher. The book is in English but since I speak Spanish, I read it with lots of Spanish words (for all the animalitos - or little animal/pets). Great way to teach kids the words for animals in Spanish. I really like the paintings and the story as well. Be sure to tell your children that Frida was a real person!!! The kids think it's made up otherwise. I mean, she did have an eagle, monkeys, and a baby deer among her menagerie!

Very inspirational, the story incorporates factual with fantastical animals from Frida's life. Very nice book to add to our art room collection for elementary students!

Perfect book to introduce your child to Frida. Its a beautiful illustrated book about Frida and her animals she kept as pets. It talks about her life without going into details. It's just right for the little ones. My son loves this book.

Beautiful book. The illistrations are womderful. The story is very sweet and perfect for my little friend who has taken to painting and LOVES animals. A perfect gift for my little friend.

Adorable book ! Lots of cute animals and a good message

My 4 year old daughter loves this book. She loves all the different animals that Frida had as pets and loves to hear about her life. It is a great introduction for pre-school or early elementary students to the life of this great artist. My little one even wants to dress up as Frida for Halloween now!

The hardcover of this book was attached with the interior pages upside down. It is a "second", but was charged full price. Did not return due to immediate deadline to use the book.
