Perfect for my Cistus Tea
I'm working, i have kids, but for my health, I'm trying to drink three cups of cistus tea per day.I'm not a "tea" drinker. I'm doing this as a means to an end, and I'm looking for a practical and efficient way of accomplishing this.My tea comes loose. I needed to either buy a tool to put my tea in, or something like this. While i absolutely loved the dinosaur tools that you can put loose tea in, and then set inside your cup, when we go back to work, i didn't want a dinosaur sticking out of my cup. There *were* more professional options though, so why did i choose this cup?It seemed like this would allow the hot water to saturate the tea better than some of those options. They were smaller containers which seemed like they would compact the tea more, making it harder to get the nutrients out of it as well.I almost didn't buy this, because of how "thin" the cup was described as in some of the comments. I'm not the most graceful person, so this was my greatest concern. After looking for an alternative that was similar but "more sturdy", and not finding anything else; and reconsidering my other options, i finally decided to give this thing a try.Guys. It's not *that* thin. I completely get why they were describing it as such, but it's definitely thicker than i was afraid it would be. It's glass, but i don't feel like i need to be any more careful with this glass than any other kind of glass. If that was causing you reservation, i wanted to let you know that it concerned me too, but I'm very happy with the product. Like others have mentioned, the lid being a base for the inner piece is super handy and great design. Very functional and efficient.

Surprisingly it was the basket that failed.
The borosilicate itself is light but very durable so far. No complaints about that. The tea basket has failed though. The bottom separated and dumped leaves into the cup. I was disappointed that lasted less than two months when I didn’t even use it that often. In short, I recommend a borosilicate cup for your tea, just not this one as the included basket is the flimsiest I’ve ever used. I’ve used a lot of tea baskets, and this was the worst.

Dee bottom of the tea basket fell apart almost right away we were able to limp through for a little while but this is garbage do not buy.

A little fragile, but fun!
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the handle is REALLY thin, and it feels way too fragile for my liking. Other than that, it's really cool and fun. The filter great, pretty much does it's job. The lid makes a fitting coaster for the filter as well. Easy to clean. I wouldn't say easy to transport though seeing how fragile it is. I recommend having one for home and a second one for work, if that's your jam.

Perfect mug for Tea enthusiasts!! Have given as gifts as well.
I LOVE these glass mugs. I Like to see what I’m drinking. These mugs are lite, but very sturdy. Size and shape make it easy to store several side by side. I love the way the handle fits into my hand. A very comfortable grip and hold. The infuser is the best I’ve ever used. There is no transfer of loose tea thru the infuser…so you are just drinking tea. I will be buying and gifting more of these mugs!

I Enjoy Using It. Well designed.
Had this for few days now and used it every single day. Holds more liquid than you would think from just looking at it.TWO THINGS I LOVE: (1) big filter for the loose leaf teas. It's easy to clean and the rubber top keeps it in sturdily in place. (2) THE CAP! The way it's designed is ingenious. The filter fits perfectly inside the lid so not only does it, captures all the condensation, it also captures the water from the filter if you leave it in the lid. This way, all the liquid in the cap can be poured back by simply flipping it over and it doesn't really drip much.Missing that one star because it does feel a bit thin and it should come with a double glass wall to keep the tea insulated. Other than that, it's a great tea cup/filter!

Constant Cleaning Needed
I really wanted to like this mug. I bought this as a mug to carry around the office and use to steep loose leaf tea. I regret buying for use in the office. For at home use, could be a different story.Cleaning around the office is not ideal. Smudges left on the mug due to it being glass. I spent more time tending to the mug than my than work and worrying about leaving smudges. Luckily I was able to repurpose the steeper in another stainless steel mug I had laying around which works for me. Overall it felt too flimsy for me. Be careful when buying a glass mug for use around the office.

Not double wall mug
I bought two mugs in two very similar sizes. Smaller one is double wall glass mug as mentioned in the description but the bigger one is a regular very thin glass. I sent it back and kept double wall one

Great steeping mug!
Glass was thinner than I expected so I hope it is strong enough for normal mug life. The coaster holds the steeper well and collects the tea still draining out. The silicone fits snuggly into the mug and holds in heat while it steeps which is a nice surprise. The steeper itself is also large so you can make a few teas.

Wonderful single mug tea infuser
I've made a whole bunch of different loose leaf teas in this now and it does a fantastic job. The filter is extremely fine and doesn't let any leaves through but allows the water to circulate. The infuser also fits nice and snugly with a rubber seal and a glass lid over the top helping to keep the tea warm while it steeps. The glass is thin and light but seems plenty strong enough and the handle doesn't get hot even when filled with boiling tea.

Good looking
I like the look of it and the basket is big. The cup looks a little smaller than I expected. Very fragile both the lid and cup. I expected the glass to be a little thicker.

GLASS COVER IS A WEAK POINT.
Hot proof cup, but I think the glass cover is its weak point. After a week 's use, and due to a rushing movement of mine, the cover was broken. So I decided to order one with stainless steel cover, such as Sama 500ml. I also purchased a similar one from other seller to compare things. I will then be able to write a fuller review. Otherwise, it's a tea cup that makes a considerable quantity of tea (450ml ) with a good quality.

lightweight and conducts heat
great product - heats well and handle stays coolUPdate Jan 2021 - the glass mug developed a crack in the rim area and had to be tossed out - loved this but it had to go.
