Works well easy to assemble. Not as robust as the 15 year old one it replaced

First, the wet/dry vac I ordered is a used one. So, some of the comments are given in that light.With that said, the only problem I had with the product upon inspection was the lack of screws for the handle.But that was no problem.No special screws are required. So, using the spare ones I have on hand worked fine.In case you are thinking that a regular vacuum is as good as a shop vac. Let me clear that up now.Shop vacs are loud.This one is very loud. I use earplugs when I run this vacuum.I suggest you do the same.Holding the hose/extension combo takes a little getting used to.The extensions come off the hose easily. Use two hands, one for the hose and the other for the extension.This issue is something that the manufacturer can fix by twist-locking the extensions and the hose.If used on a carpet, use a one-way pulling motion.Sweeping does not work well.There is no floor attachment or carpet attachment. But there is a car attachment that you can use for the floor.About The VacuumThe suction is good. I had no problems picking up debris of various sizes.The vacuum is lightweight. This shop vac rides on wheels that make moving it a breeze.The assembly is quick and easy.And the instructions are easy to follow.The vacuum has two filters, one standard and the other for fine particles like dust.There is one last distinction between this shop vac and a standard vacuum cleaner. You cannot pick up liquids with a standard vacuum cleaner.ConclusionWhether new or used, this is a good product. But it could use some tweaks.

I bought this because we have a water fountain that I have a hard time keeping from getting full of algae in spite of chlorine tablets and regular pump circulation. So invariably every few months I need to drain the fountain and put fresh water in. I was mostly doing it by hand before I got this vacuum. Draining as much as I could and then using various methods to get the last water out of the fountain. Got this thing and boy did I feel stupid how I’d been doing it before. Super powerful and bam a ton of water sucked up in a blink of an eye. And it’s cheap. Drop the mic. Great product.

This replaces a 30 yr old craftsmen shop vac that has seen better days but still works. I wanted something a little smaller than 16 gallon. So I decided on 9 gallon, it’s very nice much more easier to carry and use. The price was great and packaging was all recyclable nice job. The product now is made in Mexico instead of USA. Sears was once a company where you had a choice of buying USA made products, but when the Chinese bought the craftsmen brand it all changed for the worst. I would never buy any craftsmen product again made in china poor quality. I have craftsmen hand tools and some electric tool 30 years + that still work and are in perfect condition. I shop on eBay and look for tools made in the USA that I need. But the shop vac is a great product and great price and had it within 4 days very happy

This does not come with the muffler diffuser. Without that part you can only use this as a blower. The part is another $18. Ordered the part after calling Craftsman. Craftsman was supposed to text me in lieu of talking to someone. Never texted me. $18 isn’t worth the hassle. Just ordered the part after calling. Supposed to be here tomorrow.
