I bought another set of silicone grips for my glasses before buying these, thinking they were basically all the same. What I didn't realize until it was too late was that my frames are exceptionally thin. I wear thin full metal frames, and the width of the temple tips (at the very end of the arms, the part that sits behind the ears) are tiny relative to most frames - somewhere between 2.5mm to 3.0mm. Seems like most other grips are designed for 0.15 inches or greater (over 3.0mm), and the one I bought prior kept slipping off the grips, driving me nuts. I dug around the Amazon listings for those that had smaller openings, and these 3mm openings were just right.Other reviewers are not kidding about having to force it onto the legs. Even with my narrow temple tips I had to use a bit of force to get them on - but I'm pretty sure these won't slip off now that they're on. I'll update the review if they do start slipping off in the coming days. I'm just happy to finally find a pair that fits slim frames.Be sure to measure the width of the temple tips first!

I bought this product to pad behind my ears due to getting painful blisters. The product was very easy to install. It seems many people buy this product to keep their glasses on better but mine do not have that issue since I got them tightened at the Eye Doc. Unfortunately they do not help my situation and I still have the same painful blisters. I will have to find something more padded or have Eye Doc loosen my glasses and hope this product keeps them from slipping off then.

They work perfectly for my needs. I had damaged my frames, and was constantly pushing my glasses into place, I had them straightened but they would still slide down, it took 39 seconds to find this item on Amazon. They arrived quickly and were immediately attached to the ear pieces. I have to say problem solved.While not very easy to install it can be done.I recommend these to anyone who is tired of punching themselves in the nose every 15 minutes Great item!

I measured the end of my eyeglass arms to make sure they fit the measurements listed in the item description. But when I tried to get them on, the holes are too small. I had to brute-force fit one end onto my eyeglass arm and was afraid I would break the arm! I managed to get one end on, and the other end is just tightly connected. Note: even though I also have wire frames, the plastic ends of the arms are thicker and I still had problems getting them on. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot on these.

The first thing I didn't like about these was that it is terribly difficult to get the eyeglass temples through those tiny holes. At first, I thought it would be impossible, but I soldiered on and got them installed. It took me more than 30 minutes. However, they don't keep my glasses on at all. In fairness, I wear oxygen, and I have difficulty keeping my glasses on when I'm also wearing an N95 mask. Your situation may not be as difficult, but for me, these retainers were of no benefit whatsoever.

I had two pairs of glasses kept slipping down my nose. With COVID, I would have had to make an appointment to take them back to the optometrist to get them tightened up, but didn’t feel like doing all that, so I googled on here and found these. They are great. I have not had to push my glasses back in place since I put them on. They are also very comfortable. They help my glasses fit so snug, I thought I would start getting headaches but have not so far. I have dark framed glasses, so the dark ones looks less conspicuous with than the clear, which look almost white against the dark frames. The clear ones look like they would work better against lighter frames.

I recently changed glasses, and apparently these are heavier than the last because they constantly slipped down my nose. I would have to push them back up every 30 seconds. I went back to the store and had them bend the arms down to hold on better. No go. Still slipping. I thought I was going to have to take another trip to the store until I found these retainers. I slipped them on and instant relief. No more slipping. They were so easy to put on. I didn't have to heat or place in water to stretch. The only draw back is I have curly hair so they sometimes get stuck but the advantage definitely out-weighs that small issue. I would highly recommend.

It does slow down the process of the glasses sliding down your nose. I got it because my glasses felt like it was cutting into my ear. It helped quite a bit. I had to place it hot water first in order to slide into the temple arms. I would recommend them.
