Horrendous. Steer WAY clear!
I opened the box, sorted the parts for assembly.1. Whomever did the grips and brake assemblies had the brakes completely backwards. Nearly 180 degrees wrong.2. The brake adjustment instructions combined with the absolutely low quality brake assemblies themselves are simply ridiculous. I'd never let my son on this bike after seeing/adjusting these brakes.3. The rear brake nut wouldn't even loosen to allow me to try to fix those ones, which too are entirely too loose/open, and those come "assembled" out of the box.4. Once I had the front brakes what I thought was close, I then was able to see that the front rim was slightly bent out of the box just by watching it rotate after being fully attached/tight.5. The brake assemblies can move with your hand no matter how much you try to tighten them. You apply the brakes, and the two sides never go back to where you last had them.Overall, I understand in some ways you get what you pay for. I also understand this may be 1 of however many "bad eggs" out of the box. That said, there is ZERO WAY I'd let my kid try to learn to ride a bike on this thing.*Update 6/29/19 - I can't be happier with the seller. They were very understanding and provided an easy return process. None of my complaint is with them, and I sincerely appreciate their service.

Garbage!!
Garbage. After a hundred or so adjustments to finally get the brakes properly aligned, I began the fight to adjust the derailleurs only to eventually find you cannot set them where the gears will stay where the shifters are set. If you don't plan on shifting, ever, you can set them to stay in the lowest gear and it will only occasionally slip out of the selected one. If you want to use multiple gears (as you well should with a mountain bike) don't purchase this piece of garbage.

Great bike but get it directly from Wal-Mart instead.
I got this bike for my 11yr old daughter because she loves green and they don't have green in a girls bike. She loves it! For some reason, her kick stand doesn't work right and has cause her bike to fall several time and resulted in a small dent and some scratched up paint. I'm going to see about getting a bike rack which is disappointing to have to do that. What's even more disappointing, is that you can get this exact bike for $89 instead of $117. I had an amazon gift card so I was forced to buy it on here rather than walmart and when I received the bike, it had a walmart receipt! I am trying to get a refund just for the difference I paid but there has been no response from the seller even after amazon emailed them on my behalf.

REVISED REVIEW
I would like to delete my previous "Awful" review of this bicycle. The order was executed and delivered as promised. I can't speak for the assembly, as it was drop shipped to the final recipient. I've not heard of any problems with this item, to date. The negative review was my error. There was a problem with a completely different vendor/item, and I don't know how this was issued for your web site. Please accept my apology for the mix up.I'm going to blame poor typing skills and fat fingers !Merry Christmas !

Bummer
I’ve spent over a $100 on this bike , a tune up to assemble it with $65, two flat tires $40 plus a box for returning it( since the original was damaged by rain). Lesson learned, do not buy a cheap bike online. Tires never adjusted well, even after expert assembly, so it is a dangerous bike to ride, tires a too thin, already rusting in two weeks of using it and going through puddles. Gears fall of if changed too quickly! Bummed!

Has needed slot of repairs with light usage.
Beautiful bike, super easy to assemble however we have had one problem after another. My son in-law has replaced the chain after it broke within months, the year shifter and cable have been replaced. My grandson has been battling cancer for four years he hasn't ridden that much to be hard on the bike. We were all disappointed. Hopefully we just got a lemon.

Defective Product/Not worth the money
This is not an 18-speed bike. It has 18 speeds but only 6 will work. The owners manual is either outdated (It's from 2014) or for an entirely different bike. Parts didn't match what's on the bike. Don't waste money on this unless you want disappointed kids.
