This phone stand works on our Jabra headset that uses the micro USB charger. The headset slides on like butter and is held on the stand well. I was skeptical of the design causing the port to wear out, but now that I’ve used it they designed it to prevent wear. You don’t have to force the headset on the stand at all.

So I kept getting disconnected from calls because my headset was dying. My laptop is out of USB ports, and the one on the ground would always come unplugged. Placing the headset on the stand is a little awkward. Having a visual indicator that it is charging really is what makes this worth it for me. This is not really just a piece of plastic, but gives you confidence that you have your day's charge.

Little clips used to hold the headphones against the charging posts break too easily. Second stand and won’t be buying this again. Needs a redesign.

I was tired of having to plug in the headset to charge between calls or at the end of the day. Or of worrying whether I had remembered to plug it in when I started the next day. So, to me, the headset stand is worth it.It just charges between calls, and so I know my headset is always ready for use. The stand itself is pretty basic, plastic, nothing special, but the convenience is worth it.

This keeps the headset from laying down on a table and damaging ear muffs over a long time. The charging cable plugs into any power source you have (no specific vendor requirements, just USB charging adapter or computer port).
