20lb Bag

Worth every penny. We have been looking for something safe to be able to put down on our lawn after a different eco/pet safe company just disappeared a couple years ago. My husband came across this and we gave it a shot. So glad we did. Every year during the warm months we like to put something on our lawn and around our house just for extra protection against ants, fleas, ticks and other insects for our dogs (who are treated already) and our house. First Saturday Lime works and works well. It is safe for your animals (and kids). Just follow the simple directions on the bag and you will be good to go in no time. So glad we found First Saturday, we are so thankful for a company that cares about people and their pets.

This is so easy to put down with the scooper that comes in the package. It didn’t irritate my sinuses at all or negatively affect the chickens. I put it down once a month and it really helps keep the smell in check. I haven’t had any issues since using it. It’s a fine Lowe’s and it gets mixed in more as the chickens walk and dig. I use it in their nesting boxes too.

This stuff is amazing. I dust my chicken and duck coops with it every week, as well as their dust baths and nesting boxes. I have a small farm in rural Texas and we get serious flies. This repels them and keeps the sour odors down. That herbal spice stuff is great for city chickens, but out here it doesn't do dittily squat. I like that its organic and doesn't harm the environment. I also use the wood shaving substrate in my compost pile so the PH tends to balance out the acidity of the wood.

I love First Saturday Lime! It helps with odor in the coop and run. Great for keeping pests at bay.

I have purchased this for over 5 years since I first started backyard chicken keeping. I’ve never had any issues with mites or other bugs and my chickens stay healthy. The bag lasts a long time as I use it in the coop and run (mixed with sand and worships) every few months to freshen up their area. MUCH safer for chickens respiratory systems than dichotomous earth!!

This lime product took care of most of the ants about 80%. I was concerned about my pets and was happy it is pet friendly. Thank you 😁

Absolutely love this stuff for my chicken coop! We apply a couple times a month because it’s pretty rainy where we live. It helps with the smell and also is an insect deterrent. We use it for the run and inside the coop. I love that it has a little scoop in the bag and once we are done with the bag we use the scoop for feed or other things around the farmstead. I’ve purchased so many bags it’s definitely a staple at our house.

To expensive for such a small bag

Quite expensive to buy but lasts a long time so quite good value I think and prevents any insect pests in my chicken coup
