Very impressive gear - easy installation, generous set of cables, and cool/quiet operation
Just installed this new power supply. Installation was very simple and straightforward, and I was up and running in a few minutes. This is the first modular power supply I've installed - this was replacing a much older 550watt PS that asploded - capacitor failure.Packaging is slick - the power supply itself is very well protected, and it comes with a drawstring bag of clearly labeled round cables. Plenty of cables, and I had no issues getting power distributed throughout a tall desk-side tower. I was very impressed - this is a top of line line piece of gear. I highly recommend it.My immediate impression was - "wow, this thing is quiet!" I really wasn't aware of the noise that my older unit was generating; this is nearly silent in comparison. With a much higher efficiency than that older unit, it's also running much cooler.I took the opportunity to thoroughly vacuum out the inside of my case; I have pets. Lots of gunk on my CPU cooler, and an excellent reminder to get in there and clean it out more often. It's running cool and quiet now.

Sent it back for a 2nd time and although they were very good about getting back to me
Every time I ran 300w or over through it, it would reboot. When I ran 400w through it, it completely crapped out and repeatedly rebooted every second. I bought 2 different surge protectors and tried plugging the whole system in a different building. Still had the same problem. Sent it in to the manufacturer and got it back with the original problem. Sent it back for a 2nd time and although they were very good about getting back to me, they basically called me to say they couldn't find anything wrong and they were going to send it back and there was no point to send it back to them if it continued to have the same problem. This might be an isolated incident, but I'm definitely never going to buy this brand again.

Inexpensive and high quality (according to Tom's Hardware, at least)
Looking through the Tom's Hardware list of PSUs, there are two FSP series PSUs that they rate as Tier 1 (which is the best of the best in terms of component and build quality), while they are priced to compete with lower-end PSUs. They're even fully modular. No other PSUs on the Tom's Hardware list achieves the same quality and features all in a single package. Tom's Hardware seems to have done very in-depth tests to decide where each PSU ranks in their Tier list, so it seems pretty legitimate.

It's a power supply
ProsFully ModularQuiet80+ PlatinumPrice for it's rating and wattage is very cheap.ConsATX power cable is absolutely digusting. Don't worry it's clean and useable. However, whoever wired it together is the biggest jackass on the planet. It's split into two different connectors. That's not the issue, the issue is that it seems like random wires were chosen to be connected from the cable to the connectors. You have some from the front, some from the middle, and some from the end being connected the 2nd connector. Like why.#2 Only comes with Quad Sata cables. My cause issues for cable management.Similarly also comes with quad sata to Molex.Final With custom cables, these issues can be solved. May also be compatible with other power supply cables. So chances are you can remedy the issues above.I can't make note of the 80+ platinum rating as i don't know how much power it's actually drawing.

Very great PSU. Currently using it for crypto mining
Very great PSU. Currently using it for crypto mining. The pcie cables are two cables attached so that the other cable is just a short end from the first. There is still enough room to attach another GPU to it, and there seems to not be too great a current draw, but I'm not electrician. I'm running 4 580s and one 1060. When dual mining pascal and eth with that setup with my 1060 mining neoscrypt, I run around 1080 watts which is a little more than I want to run, but the power supply seems like it is hardly working. I've heard that you should keep these under 80% for 24/7 operation so I've backed off a bit. It runs super quiet and I give it 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Color me impressed.
I'd never heard of the brand before, and I was a bit wary when the first two website results I found for the company weren't active websites. But the specs seemed to be exactly what I wanted and the price was hard to beat, so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The box it came it was simple, but nice, and included one of the non-working websites printed on the side, but I opened it to find a well-protected PSU (surrounded by dense foam padding on all sides) and a box with separately wrapped cables. It just looked like a company that takes pride in their products. There was even a small plastic film covering the FSP logo in the center of the fan. After taking it out, I was even more happy. The powder coating was flawless - not an extra glob in any of the vent holes or a bubble in the finish. The whole thing just screamed quality. As expected, it powered up my system just fine, so that's always a good thing. I assume it's running at spec and given the attention to the exterior and packaging, I expect it to continue doing so for quite a while. Review will be updated if it dies in a month. Two negatives: First, it is slightly louder than the 6-year-old Thermaltake it replaced, but not by much. And considering I have a total of four 120mm fans and two 80mm, I'm not bothered at all by it. The computer makes noise already. Second is more of a personal problem, but might affect others. There are 7 SATA connectors, but they come on only two cables, neither of which is long enough to reach both of my optical drives and my hard drive, so I had to install both. On the plus side, it came with a few velcro cable ties to pull everything together and out of the way. Oh, one other thing. For some reason, some of the cables have a braided overwrap, but others have a rubberized cover (the SATA cables are one of each, which makes it weirder).Altogether, I'm quite pleased with it so far and hope it lasts me a long time.

Great 5 out of 5!
I have owned 100's of PSU's and have done many builds with them in my life time, this PSU was still able to impress me after seeing Thousands opened and put work and in builds, Not only in performance and benchmarking but even in a eco or balanced setup with 250W cards in SLI and 140W Processor.
