Peek Freans Family Digestive Biscuits/Cookies, 300g/10.6oz {Canadian}

I'm a Canadian living in the U.S. & was having a longing for some P.F. Digestives. Was pleased to see these offered on Amazon. They were definitely expensive but decided to treat myself given being stuck at home due to the Coronavirus restrictions which means no summer trip to Canada this year. They arrived promptly yesterday BUT.....they are an absolute mess! Chocolate is melted....cookies broken......crumbs..... (See photos) I didn't even bother to pull up the cello as it was obvious that they were inedible. NOTE: by the looks of the damage, I believe that it was not just due to shipping & they've been sitting on a shelf somewhere like this. Expiry date shows as: 2021JA06. Was surprised when I tried to do a return that it came up as "Ineligible for Return" & wouldn't let me electronically request a refund. Contacted Amazon Chat & explained the situation. They promptly initiated a Refund. Good on Amazon! Bad on the product supplier!

Being in the States, I really miss my digestive cookies! I grew up on these cookies so it is so awesome to be able to stock my pantry with them to share with family and friends. They are a light cookie almost like a graham cracker but lighter and yet made with whole grains - now they cover that goodness with a thin layer of chocolate- Yum!

I’m originally from Toronto Canada my family and I picked up and moved to Buffalo New York and so being able to buy my favorite snacks that I grew up with back home and giving it to my husband to try is amazing in itself they were amazing they didn’t break they came perfect just expensive though

My husband is Canadian and has loved these all his life-glad to see they can be bought online and be in pristine shape on arrival :)

I was traveling in Canada recently and saw these in the grocery store. I adore the McVities ones, but thought I’d chance these. They were excellent, and every bit as delicious as the McVities.
