Smooths out rough roads
I have nerve pain in my hand, aggravated by bumpy roads, and can’t get wider tires on my rim brake road bike. This stem helps quite a bit to smooth out the ride, without interfering or feeling bouncy. It’s high quality with good instructions. Am really glad a product like this exists.

Amazing product and best customer service on Amazon
Bought the suspension stem for my gravel bike on recommendation from my mechanic. Had a wrong size delivered to my door, but had a pleasure of getting in touch with Dylan from Redshift who helped me through the process of getting the right size. We exchanged a few messages and I felt that he genuinely cares, I wish more sellers had such great customer service. It's cold in Canada but I managed to take the bike out for a few minutes to test the stem, I'd say I felt about half of the impact of asphalt cracks compare to my stock stem. And it should be better when it's warmer too, I had my mechanic tune it soft-ish anyway. Thinking of getting seat post from Redshift as well. Highly recommend.

Well worth it
I used this on a cyclocross conversion to a gravel bike. I’ve ridden approximately 2,000 km with it and I am hugely impressed. Installation took about 15 min, but I have a good idea what I was doing.Ride comfort on gravel or rough roads is greatly improved. There is about 2 cm of travel which seems to be a sweet spot for gravel riding.I don’t think that I would use this on a road bike, unless you were doing casual riding. For gravel riding, it is a very good addition for my bike.

Simply one of the best upgrades period!
Simply put, this by far has to be one of the best upgrades I've come across. Those reviews that say it doesn't work, are either idiots or haven't followed the instructions and are expecting too much. After having ridden with it for over a month, and 500 kms later, this has been a surprising game changer. While it doesn't completely eliminate bumps and jars, it drastically reduces all but the most severe, which had the surprising effect of reducing upper body fatigue on mixed surface riding. As long as you follow the instructions, it works and works very well the first time. It did take a slight bit of time to get used to the slight movement of the handlebars, but now can't imagine going back and riding without it now. This great for road, gravel, and smooth flowy MTB trails, but doesn't replace a suspension fork for MTB jumps and potholes.
