Glenn Ekblad, DO EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN AND ANESTHESIOLOGIST
I am Both a ABEM Board Certified Emergency Physician and a Past Residency trained anesthesiologist at the University of Michigan and I have taken the Ron Walls Difficult Airway course three times to date and I plan on taking it again (4th time) because this course and the text book are kept up to date on how to manage an airway and also a difficult airway. I highly recommend both the book and also the course. Col (Ret-Not) Glenn Ekblad, DO, MPH, MSN, FACEP. ABEM Board certified in both Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine. Anesthesiology trained at the Univ. of Michigan.

The PREEMINENT reference/textbook of State of the Art Emergency Airway Management
The Sixth Edition of The Walls Manual of Emergency Airway Management builds on prior editions of the same manual, with State of the Art, Evidence Based assessment and management methodologies. The manual is robust in current science, follows a logical pathway, and is exceptionally well written. The manual is easily "readable."The publishers E-Book medium leaves a lot to be desired. I've resigned myself to relying upon the paper textbook.

If you only have ONE book on emergency airway management, this should be it.
