What sets this heat gun apart from others are a few things: variable heat & fan controls and a nifty off button which cools down the gun before switching off safely to store away. Then there are the attachments and accessories for the gun which are varied and good quality. They also fit well which is not always the case with other heat guns where the accessories are cheap, don’t fit properly and are dangerous. If you’re a bit clumsy, like me, then you may also like the fact that the gun can be stood on its end while using. Important, if like me, you are prone to burning through cables when distracted! If you’re new to heat guns, experiment with different temperatures as this guns become quite hot if you dial it up to the max. Do not aim the gun at a particular surface for too long, just wave if over the desired surface area. Concentrating on an area for too long, stripping wood, for example, can burn the wood. The above photo is an example of what the heat gun can do after 20 minutes of use. It managed to strip 3 layers of paint with the scraper attachment. All good so far… Just one other thing to mention: if you buy the heat gun (like I did) and did not get it as a freebie, like some reviewers, you get a cardboard storage box, not a tough plastic one. This is academic, however, as once the cable is attached to the gun it ceases to fit in the box! This is offset, however, by the performance of this great heat gun.

The box it comes with it is useless and can’t fit the heat gun once the power cable is attached, because you can’t separate the power cable from the heat gun after it has been connected to it. ⬅️ This is the only reason for the 4 stars⚠️.This means if you can’t find a suitable case that keeps the heat gun well protected, organised and fixed with its accessories, and not moving around inside the case, you’re at risk of loosing some of the accessories/attachments and exposing the heat gun to scuffs and scratches or damaging it completely, hence it could be a useless item deserving zero stars.Other than this simple but huge issue, it’s a very well made and excellent durable item suitable for heavy duty uses.I used it to shrink window tinting for several cars all day on a very windy day, and I found it an excellent item that can definitely last if you look after it very well, but the simple issue I mentioned still bugging me.My advice, buy the one with the protection storage case, or if you have alternative storage ideas then buy this one with confidence✅

I ordered this to help me strip the woodwork in my hallway and I can honestly say that it was the best piece of kit I bought! It was very easy to use, maintained its heat for long periods of time and was easy to hold. I would definitely recommend this product, it was so much better than using paint stripper! Tip: do not use paint stripper first and then try to use the heat gun, it just creates a hot mess! It works perfectly on its own!

Handy little heat gun and the little bag of extras are just what's needed. I used it to heat shrink some wires together and it handled the job with ease. The little attachments came in real handy too especially the curved one that circulates the heat around the wire being heat shrunk.

Used it today after soldering some wires for speaker to put some shrink wraps around wires after I was done, heats up very fast 5*****

Acquistata per lavoretti elettrici in cui si devono usare molte guaine termorestringenti, messa alla prova intensiva si è comportata egregiamente.Leggera e maneggevole ma robusta e ben accessoriata, il consumo energetico è relativamente contenuto ed è apprezzabile la scelta della temperatura da utilizzare
