I loved the characters the twist and turns of the story.Once you start reading you don't want to put it down.

I don’t know what happened. But I still had this copy on my TBR bookshelf so I borrowed it from my audio library.Started to listen to it and thought, hmmm this is familiar.Turns out I’d read it and not put my book on my Already read shelf and forgot to write a review.Another sign of getting old!I remember enjoying this book but not being engrossed in it like the other books they’ve written.Easy reading, not too intense for me though if I remember right.Obviously not memorable as I can’t recall much apart from a Therapist who was odd and had distrustful vibes and an affluent well to do couple where the wife right at the first meeting with the Therapist revealed to her husband she had an affair.

Amazing work very brilliant I must say. When it hit it hit hard. 5 star for sure very brilliant for sure

On one hand, it’s compelling enough to keep reading on the other I feel that the main twist was always just there lurking. Technically, that’s a sign of a good book but I can’t help but feel that it was a bit too obvious?This book also didn’t really have any likeable characters which I don’t think is entirely necessary but it just didn’t quite feel like I had anyone to root for.

So I LOVE these two authors. Not sure who writes which bit as it is blended so well. I have read every book of theirs now and this one does not disappoint either! It is an interesting and fresh perspective on the thriller genre, I found that their books always stand out as memorable. I read this quickly and enjoyed the slow building of tension and drip feeding important details, the ending of course was also good and I didn't see the twists coming.

I often know if a book will enthrall me few pages. This book had me hooked from the start. It’s so well written and the plot is clever and is properly twisty until the end. Clever, gripping and brilliant.

Love everything they do as a duo. Gives me an incite into American life, lots of twists & great plot lines. Like to read sparingly to make it last longer. Up there with Shari Lapena. Superb.

I liked this book but can’t say it blew me away. It is very middle of the road and safe. I almost stopped reading near the beginning when Avery recalled hiding in a client’s wardrobe to video proof of their toxic marriage. I thought it was all going to be a bit far fetched. But she reined it in and it was sort of enjoyable, although not the sort of book that will stay with me.

This was a great read! It's engaging and keeps you guessing. Did not see that ending coming at all! Definitely recommend.

An engaging psychological thriller that is very well-plotted.

Been a fan of Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkenan ever since I read The Wife Between Us and this one doesn't disappoint. If psychological thrillers are your thing, this is a great pick!

Although I guessed the culprit really early on I still enjoyed this book. Twisty and well written.
