After I bought this, life became easier. Casually u can sit and grate. My daughter does it.

You need to have good hand strength to use this product. For old people at home it’s hard to hold the coconut in one hand and use the scrapper. I do not recommend this product

The concept is awesome and it does scrap the coconut. It’s easy to handle and the blade doesn’t cut our skin. So I have no fear of accidental cuts and bleeding. I felt that it is little difficult to use, since I had to angle the scraper and apply some amount of force to get the scraper to its maximum potential i.e do the grating fast and cover maximum surface area. Also I feel there could be 1-2 more speed setting. Hands start to pain due to the amount of pressure we are continuously applying. 1 more speed setting means applying the pressure for lesser duration. Overall I know this product has a lot of potential, but I still feel it needs some improvement in terms of ease of use. I have used it a few times in the past few months, but I really wish I could use it more often. It’s that easy concept but my hands pain so I use it alternatively between standard coconut scraper and this one.
