I hate wearing sun screen on my hands, so I figured I would try these gloves as an alternative. They fit well and keep the sun off my skin to prevent burning. My only complaint is that they are a bit difficult to remove without feeling like I am going to rip the fabric. I can pull on just the fingers with leather pads and it seems to work. Maybe mine are a bit smaller than I should have ordered, but I like how snug and firm they hold on without catching on anything.I am using these for both yard work and alpine backpacking. Hopefully they last through one year without getting too beat up. If they can last a year, then it is money well spent, IMO.
