I first had this tonic on vacation and brought a bottle home with me because we had one left and I didn't want to leave it. I'm so glad I didn't. I made a G&T a month after we got home and was blown away by how good it was. At that time, I couldn't remember where I got the tonic so I started searching local stores. It finally struck me that it came from a trip to Scotland and I started researching ways to get it here. I'm so glad I can get it on Amazon and it came incredibly carefully packed and not a bottle was lost in the process. Writing this review with a drink including this delicious tonic next to me and I'm so glad I bought it!

I would have like to try this. 2nd time damaged. Just bubble wrapped and placed on its side in the box. No fragile markings. Broken bottles.

Since some reviews complained about packing, they certainly took those complaints seriously because all bottles arrived today in perfect condition packed in very sturdy box and individually bubble wrapped. This is a less sweet tonic. I did a comparison with my other favorite tonic, Fever Tree, which is less expensive. London Essence has a slightly more bitter edge which would work well in cocktails and may be a little more carbonated. Definitely wins in the elegant bottle category.

I felt compelled to write a review after seeing some of the previous complaints. I received the order with a couple of days and was astonished how well it had been packed. It’s probably over-packed but it’s clear the company is taking the complaints of shipping damage seriously.I first tasted this tonic a few weeks ago in London and had to order it when I got home. It’s expensive and currently difficult to find in the US but it’s by far and away the best tonic on the market. It has rekindled my love of a G&T of an evening.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the product…..but 5 bottles were broken in shipping so you can imagine a box at the front door leaking tonic and falling apart as it sits there.Not a happy camper!
