Stupid engineering
The package missed parts, including essential one, a big holding platform. Instructions are hard to read, parts don’t fit well. But the worst is the overall logics of assembly: parts go on each other in the piles with single or no clue for reinforcement. As a result everything breaks apart at the slightest try to move all set building from one place to another, which returns you to the user-unfriendly instructions.Add $20 and buy original Lego. In my case, I wasn’t attentive and bought this poor copy; will never do that mistake again.

Just like legos! The real deal!
I LOVED legos growing up, and apparently, everyone else still loves them-- which has driven the price up rather high for legos nowadays! I was excited to find this and bring back some "nostalgia" into my life (it's been rough lately and I needed something to make me smile) but I also didn't want to break the bank so I found these! They arrived and I noticed right away that the box is "hefty" in weight-- which was a good sign as I worried if they would "hold up" next to legos. Upon opening, they look just like legos and work the same, too. I am super excited to have "legos" and love that these are also compatible with the real lego brand, too. The instructions were a little hard to understand and I haven't fully finished putting the set together as is (it's been fun just going over everything and preparing; if you like legos, you'll know what I mean) and I may be missing a piece or two but can accommodate with an actual lego piece (not entirely sure but I couldn't find a couple of pieces that I needed but I may have overlooked it). Still-- this is a great "knock-off" version for a fraction of the price!!!! Highly recommend!

We just began but have some starter info!
I wanted to jump on super early but will still update as time goes on!IMPORTANT INFORMATION IMO that would've saved my little from having a meltdown. EACH BAG # HAS TWO BAGS EXCEPT BAG 8 AND 9.So of course we read nothing, ripped it open, arm swept everything off the coffee table and began. Grabbed the large bag of little numbered bags. Instantly saw bag 1 and grabbed it, ripped that bag open also and went to the book through step 1, 2, kept going to step 3... she quickly realized we were missing a piece. No worries, let's make a note and we can reach out and get one sent. Moved the step 4, missing another piece, 5 same. She is almost near tears because she was soooo excited to get this in and start. So I begin to look in the box, on the floor, under the book, everywhere! those 2 pieces were no where to be found. :( I then suggested that we go through all the bags and steps to get a good list of ALL missing pieces. While pulling out bag 3, we see another bag 3 under the other bag 3 we just pulled out! HALLELUJAH!! Once again there were almost tears but now they are followed by celebration and a hug. So as we continue with this large task at hand, I will update as stages go on but fingers crossed the beginning of this large undertaking will be the most difficult time we encounter. LOL

Nice Set and Fragile
Got this as a gift for my 5 yo. Here are the good, the bad, and the verdict.THE GOOD- So many pieces keep him occupied for hours and us, the parents, too because we helped him with it.- Very beautiful once done with lots of options to play with especially the vehicles- Vibrant colors- Came with no missing pieces which is a great thing- Great value compares to the Lego brand; this is a stealTHE BAD- Some pieces especially the stair parts are harder to snap together but not necessarily a bad thing; just takes some maneuvering- The helicopter is especially fragile and easily broken into pieces even with light playing. 5 yo was pretty sad about that as it keeps falling apart the pieces don't snap together very well- Instructions are confusing at times because the printing of colored pieces was also done in grey, black or whiteTHE VERDICT:Will think hard if want to purchase as a gift for others

Not up to Lego standards
My 8 yr old son was excited to purchase a new Lego set for the long weekend. He chose this set because it came with some extra vehicles. I didn’t realize that this was an off brand until it arrived but he really wanted to give it a try. This set comes with 9 bags and the instruction book looked promising. Unfortunately, this build has been nothing but a headache. The pieces don’t line up or connect. He gets stuck with pieces that simply won’t connect. He is an experienced Lego guy with no satisfaction to be had with poorly constructed pieces that leave his prison base rocky and ready to fall. Go with Lego..you won’t get as many pieces but you will have a build that actually works.

Not close to lego
Very hard to connect and even harder to take apart, even with the little tool. And the directions weren’t easy to read. The different colors of blocks were hard to decipher on the directions
