My fob was being held together with duct tape due to wear and tear. It was a real mess. The tape had caused it to become sticky and it was almost impossible to see the buttons. I bought this on a whim to see if it would save the fob. It did, perfectly. I removed the tape and held the torn buttons together while putting the cover front on. Then I took a very small flat head screw driver and used it to pull the lip over the back cover. Perfect fit. Buttons all work just like new and no more tape. The gold trim is a very nice tough and gives the fob a more elegant look. Plastic is sturdy, feels like it will last but time will be the true test. The cost is low, and this makes it a high value purchase IMO. So much better than buying a new fob. My OEM fob has a long key inside it that made the shell options a waste. Note you have to remove the cover if you want to access your physical key, which would be a pain, but I never use the key myself. Very happy with the functionality and quality. Great price. This key fob cover was exactly what I was hoping for! It looks great, the quality of the material is great, and it was very easy to put on. The buttons underneath still work perfectly. I will definitely be ordering another for my spare key fob.

I ordered this for my fob on my 2016 Chevy Tahoe. My fob buttons are starting to wear and look dingy. This was easy to put on. It’s a perfect replica of the key fob itself. It’s a hard shell and fits like a glove. I felt like I had to push the buttons a smidge harder to register and I almost gave 4 stars because I tried to take it off to create a video and it’s hard to get off but I feel like I can’t fault them for the product being secure. 🤷‍♀️ all in all I really like it and makes my fob looking clean. Now when I need to get the physical key out, that might be another story. Hopefully I can get it off without breaking it.
