I've thrown out so many rollers because I hate cleaning them but also because I never seem to get all the paint out so they harden . I bought a 1 foot hose, hooked it up to my slop sink faucet and this this thing, turned on the hot water and walked away and 7-8 minutes later the roller is perfectly clean! Huge time and money saver especially for such a low price; the cost of just a couple good roller sleeves.

All I can say about this is that it works great. You think you've cleaned a roller and then you put it in this and find out just how wrong you were.

This paint roller cleaner works, but not as well as I had hoped. One problem is that it requires the roller to be mounted on the roller frame. This keeps the paint trapped between the inside of the roller and the roller frame from being rinsed out easily. Also, this tool doesn’t work for rollers with thick naps (e.g., ¾” nap). However, this tool isn’t completely useless; it does save me a bit of time for final rinsing. Here’s how I use it:1) scrap as much paint off as possible with a painter’s tool2) rinse roller under running water to get rid of the bulk of the remaining paint3) remove roller from roller frame to rinse inside of roller4) re-mount roller onto roller frame and use this tool for final rinsingI like to have my paint rollers really clean for next use. Final rinsing is much quicker with this tool. One thing to note: turn the water on slowly, or you may have a mess on your hand.

Took more water than anticipated.

Good build quality, plastic was thick enough and tough. Works well to flush paint out of the cover nap, doesn't help with the inside of the cover tube. You will still have to do a bit of scraping of the nap and washing of the core.
