This original one of a kind carving was made using a piece of deer antler. The deer antler I use was either traded for from a hunter who uses everything except the antlers, or was given freely by mother nature. If I did not use the antlers for carving they would be added to landfills. The carving is 3 5/8" long x 1 3/8" wide from its widest points. This piece has a screw eye attached to the top. Hang it on your Halloween tree for a unique ornament, key chain, or on any wall with a small nail or tack. Add it to a length of cord for a unique pendant. It would also look great tied to a walking stick. It was created using my trademark organic style of sculpture. Acrylic paints added color to the eye. A torch was used to add contrast. After carving I seal all my work with multiple coats of lacquer, and shade the recesses with an oil wash. I sign and date all my work with the year in which they are produced. I have been carving for over four years, and I look forward to many more years of producing fine quality art just for you.
