Does anyone know where I can find just the melting pot without the divider in the middle?

One comes with the Wilton melting pot. Walmart or the Wilton website also have them

Can i just put chocolate in this and than melt in microwave ?

I dont believe the handle can take the heat of the microwave. I also think the instructions say no also. I ordered the melting pot its the best way to warm up chocolate but for some reason my machine isnt heating so well. We shall see what happens the next time I make cake pops.
