Stainless steel material: quick ignition device

Item is just the top and does not come with the gas, you have to buy that at an auto store or hardware store etc. It works as it was supposed to. What I wasn't as fond of is that it seems like the knob to turn on and off could be sensitive to easily being knocked and turned on. I didn't feel comfortable with the thought of that. I'm sure they are probably all made that way, perhaps some are better than others. It worked properly though and as it was supposed to, so I would still say it's a good product and value for the price.

I got a great deal through amazon haul. This thing is simple and easy, twist on my propane tank. turn open the dial, electric ignited away. Easy

Hey this is a great little torch and it really works well, the integrated spark device is great so you don't have to carry a lighter or a sparking tool. Great way to start fires quickly for your wood burning stove or if you are burning trash outside or whatever. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that the little housing that encompasses the sparking device seems to be made of chromed plastic. It was hard to tell from the illustration whether it was made of metal. Since it's made of plastic, I'm not sure how long it will last, but so far so good and it is sparking right along. Thanks.

I threw it away in frustration. The flame would light but it would not stay at one level, the flame will get suddenly really high or drop to useless levels. Adjusting the flame intensity was impossible. It proved useless and I had to go buy another one mid job.

Worked great for me. Finer pointed contained flame as opposed to brushy full flame. Seems well made. The screw valve has to be unscrewed further than I expected for gas to flow. I hope the increased opening turns also means when closing it has a better blockage for gas leakage while torch is off.

It’s a good torch, I love the striker integration unfortunately over time mine has begun to bypass gas even when shut all the way off. They might not all be that way but I have to remove it from the tank as well as make sure I blow out the flame which will stay lit at a low burn when valve is closed. That can be a fire hazard if you’re not paying attention to the nozzle. If you remove the torch from the tank while still partially lit it can throw a combustion at the tank connection as it’s removed.

Nicely built item that works on the first try. The price was low and I was excepting something far less when it arrived.

The torch works, and the price is reasonable, but the whole body of the torch gets very hot. After five minutes of operation the igniter Button gets too hot to touch and stays hot for a long time. This will get returned.
