Otherwise it seems very sturdy but I want it to stay horizontal.** A: It has some kind of friction clamp that keeps it from swiveling when you wouldn’t want it to, but you can tilt it about 10 degrees each way if you choose. **Q: I want to kown about the size of C-Clamp base, I want to ensure my table can use this.** A: The base that sits on top of the desk is 7” wide and 5.5” deep. The clamp looks like it could accommodate a desktop that is 4” thick. **Q: Can i remove the keyboard tray and flip it over and reattach it?** A: Probably. It has a huge bolt that holds the tray that could be removed with an Allen wrench. **Q: can this be mounted to the front of the desk?** A: Mine is clamped to the side opposite from where I sit.
