Received today, which was a nice surprise on a wet Saturday autumn afternoon.They seem really nice quality. They fit me perfectly, I'm 5'8"/9 & the Large size fits me fine. They are a 32" elasticated waist with pull cords & 32" inside leg... They comfortable, look nice & feel nice... Loft up well from storage bag, has zipped side pockets, plus front zip & popper... They were very well priced in comparison to others I looked at & also had more features... Tentock tags even had a tiny sample of the goose down attached, unnecessary, but a nice touch & another sign of quality... Not tested yet, but very pleased so far...!✔️💯 Go Camping NOW...!!!😄👍

The trousers don't make you look like the Michelin man but they do keep warmth inside. I bought them to add some warmth round the legs during mornings and evening of the hiking days and as a potential warmth improver to add inside the sleeping bag at higher altitude and colder nights. My existing choices were a decades old fleece jogger from Jack Wolfskin (400g) or a pair of thicker cycling tights (322 g). The 'New XL' version bought here is 268 g so there is a weight benefit and while packing size is similar to the fleece jogger, the cycling tights do fold a bit smaller.Now, the down pants may or may not contain the same down as the tiny sample that comes with them and the lofting power is a far cry from a good sleeping bag (see photo of them lying flat after shaking them up and wearing them for an hour, the double layer barely makes it to 3 cm.Using and infrared thermometer and measuring the temperature on the thigh showed lower temperature (so higher insulation) for the down compared to the fleece (2-3°C) and compared to the winter cycling tights (3-4°C). I also compared it with an old heavy pair of skiing trouser with hollow fill filling (weighing 900 g) and both came out very similar. Comparing to naked skin the surface of the down trousers is 6-7 °C cooler.The waist as it comes out of the box fits 34 inches nicely. Outside length is about 103 cm and me being 1.82 m tall when siting the lower end of the trousers is about 10 cm above your ankle so they seem a tad short. I have fairly muscular thighs and they fit comfortably around them with a bit of space even when sitting. Compared to the fleece and cycling tights the down trousers a much more wind proof.I don't know how more expensive down trousers would compare but while one could reduce the weight a bit more, this also raises the price to about three times.No ideas how these trousers would fare when using while walking or how easy they might rip but for the purpose I bought them I think they are performing well for the price.4 stars really only for the fact that some photos suggest more loft than is provided and that the thigh value is completely wrong (middle thigh circumference is 58 - 60 cm)

I ordered XL but I would be surprised if these are more than a medium.WAY too small

kept me warm sleeping at 15F in combination with a 20deg sleeping bag, long underwear, uninsulated pants, 2 big puffy jackets, down booties from the same brand Tentock.Weighed in at 262g in size L. I wear size women's size 8-10 and they fit over 2 other layers.I bought these last minute for a cold camping trip, but I don't feel the need to return them for a name-brand. By my estimation, their best competitor would be the Enlightened Equipment Torrid pants, which are ~90g lighter at $140.Don't seem super durable - these will only be sleeping pants for me, would not recommend for activities like skiing or hiking.

I usually wear men's 34x32 or large pants. I ordered a XXL because the size chart said that would be more than a match. I could barley get them buttoned. There is absolutely no ease in the seat.

I am 78. 2+ years of COVID couch work: poor leg circulation.. bhrrr! Down pants: problem solved. + Everywhere I go folks Give envious raves: Sooo stylish.. I have generated many sales of these, just by walking the dog. 🐕🚶‍♀️
