I was skeptical to buy this camera at such a low price but it has already come in very handy for my remodeling business. Keep in mind the best viewing clarity is in the 2-4" range of what you are looking at. The image isn't as clear when seeing something farther away but it's not meant for that type of recording. The app was easy to install, the wifi connected right away. No problems at all with the setup. Very happy with the camera, quality and rigidity of the cable.

I am impressed worth thus camera, it has a good high res image that I am pleased to see and show others. The WiFi connection works just fine, the stiffness of the cable seems to be just right, I will know more when I put it to the real life test when ever that will be. From the perspective of a very particular and anal-retentive engineer, this tool is HIGHLY impressive!I am VERY particular about what goes into my personal tool kit, and I am seldom impressed by a new tool. But, this endoscope is definitely a permanent addition to my primary tool bag.It has a few small problems that should be addressed in the next generation of the tool (...see below for my “suggestions” for improvement...). But at this low price - combined with it’s stunning versatility - it’s a definite must have for anyone who needs to peek into hard to reach spots!!!Here’s my list of issues with this tool -- The English version of the manual is confusing, ESPECIALLY when you first set it up (...lots of people are complaining about this issue). The device puts out a Wi-Fi signal to connect the device to your phone. Strangely / counter-intuitively, the device put’s out a WiFi signal - not Bluetooth. (See below for how I connected my phone...)- The black plastic “electronics package” (where the controls and rechargable battery are housed) is too flimsy and light duty. It should be more sturdy and moisture / dust resistant.- The on / off switch and “roller style” light intensity controller need to be upgraded. They feel fragile - especially when compared to the higher quality engineering of the yellow wire and camera head.- This tool definitely needs a hard storage case, but that problem is fairly easily solved. I’m using a simple food storage container.- Battery life is annoyingly short (about 30 minutes?). I’m fairly confident that there is space for a bigger rechargeable Li-ion battery in the electronics package.How to connect the endoscope to an iPhone -The manual implies that you have to manually enter the unique WiFi name (“Jetion_fd235d84” in my case...), and password (12345678) into the app’s control screen. But, on my iPhone, all I had to do was go to my phone’s WiFi control panel list, select the endoscope’s WiFi signal, and then enter the password. Easy and done.

Worked as advertised, I did test it and I liked the results, Now just waiting for a real use for the item.Today I used it. Had it in box for over a month and today i had to blindly make a connection under the Dashboard in my truck.Tried it with inspection mirror but not luck. Bingo, pulled out the Endoscope, and in just a few minutes i was able to make the connection.Paid for itself today!PS: Big WARNINGS in the box about NOT Changing the PASSWORD! <- There is NO real need / reason to do that, so leave it alone and enjoy the product as it was shipped.

Cannot give five stars it is just too hard to maneuver where you want it to go. The product is priced well for what you get. You get an excellent picture with an easy to use app, it even connected pretty easily. Nice bright and adjustable light. The product seems pretty well built. All that was perfect. When you go to use it you suddenly realize that it is just a semi-rigid cable that has no control once it gets out of your hands. Trying to look into a ventilation system that has a sharp turn? If that turn is out of your control (more than a few inches in a tight space) you will watch the cable simply bump into the first wall it hits and clumsily bang around the corner and you will be looking at something you cannot even recognize. Then you can twist and turn to your hearts content and maybe come up with something you like. It may be upside down or sideways. This would work good for "straight ahead" viewing if you wanted to look deep into a dark space in a straight line or examine a pipe that was straight or only mild bends maybe. I feel like I could have purchased one with a much shorter cable than the 16.4 foot and been farther ahead since it was cheaper and less bulky to store.

EDIT: The manufacturer reached out to me and offered to send me another unit to test. They said I did not need to return the original unit. I already did but I wrote on it so the packaging so it would not be resold. Hopefully they can test it to see why it drops the signal. When the new one arrives I will update the review. Hopefully it will work. This is good old fashioned customer service and I find it rare these days so I am increasing to 3 stars for now.This would have been a great tool if it would have stayed connected. The wifi cut in and out constantly. By the time I would reset the wifi the camera was no longer aimed properly. I attempted to install it on Samsung G5, MOTO G5+ and Samsung G 7. I will try another brand.

Works well (I got the 5 meter semi-rigid cable version). Image quality is adequate, certainly good enough for the task at hand. As some other reviewers noted, make sure to connect your phone or tablet to the wifi before starting the app. Then everything is simple. There appears to be a facility in the software to change the SSID and password, but dire warnings from users not to try it. This is a limited-range, short time use appication, there is really no need for excess security to look at the wiring in your wall, or a drain clog. If you are using it to spy on your neighbor on the other hand, you deserve for it to fail! I tried it with a Galaxy Note 4 and a cheapo Android tablet, simple and easy with each. Buying experience was painless.

Great seller and great product. Does require a while to charge, but works well once fully charged.
