This freestanding clock is very cute with genuine antique look and feel. It's smallish, about the size of a woman's hand. The frame is metal in antiqued silver/pewter and sturdy. The decorative snap on back is plastic but looks like metal. The face is not white and I am glad it's not. It's like an antiqued parchment. It does not have a second hand which at first bothered me but now I think a second hand would be out of place for this clock. I am happy with my purchase.Update: Occasionally, the hands of the clock disappear. It has to do with lighting glare on the curved glass. All of the numbers are still visible but one or both of the hands disappear. I have it in my dark living room which requires lights on even in daytime. So sometimes I have to shift or lean a bit from the couch for the hands to materialize. But if I turn off the lights, the hands are visible. I don't consider this a big deal because I'm usually moving about. This is only problematic if you're stationary and happen to be at that one wrong angle of view. Just a forewarning to others but I still love this clock.

Attractive, not too big, keeps accurate time, numbers are big enough to read from across the room. We love it!

I really like this item. However, for the price I was very disappointed that the back of the clock is just cheap flimsy plastic that snaps in.

I like to have clocks in bathrooms, so you don't lose track of time. Lol. This is for my powder room, which has chrome antique style hardware in it. It's pretty large, easy to read, and accurate. And cute!

This looks like a beautiful vintage clock! The back plate is very pretty and hides the battery. The face is very easy to read, unlike my old clock, and I really just enjoy looking at it!
