looks great !
Mixed this with a clear waterproof coat as 2nd coat for a new deck. Not visible at all once down and dried. However you can feel the product apparently doing its job!Deck not slippery when wet from rain and very hopeful! Will update once we get snow and see if its going to work for shoveling! But so far appears very hopeful!

No slip stair treads
Ease of application, varnish first then use a salt shaker to apply the grit let dry then topcoat with varnish. Finish product comes out great.

Works With Boat Paint
I mixed this additive to the boat paint I used for the floor of my aluminum jonboat and it dried to a smooth, but non-slip surface without affecting the white paint at all. It isn't rough like the sand additive some boat paints come with and you can use whatever amount you want because it isn't pre-mixed. Very nice product and the leftover can be kept for any future paint jobs I might need it for.

Works better than expected
When I received the small container, I wondered how much this was going to make. I opened it and felt the grit and it really didn't feel that gritty - more like a powder. I first tried it on some RV steps that I was repainting; if stepping on the leading edges they were quite slippery when wet. After painting them using a relatively small quantity of this additive, they weren't slippery anymore. I did wait a few days for it to fully cure since I was using an oil based paint. The result is much better than I would have expected - not sure what the stuff is but it does work without being rough and without looking like large sandpaper pieces on my steps.
