I understand that its only 11 dollars, but this really isnt worth it. Poor design Poor quality. Use it as a throw away. For light infrequent use maybe worth it. I have 3 large dogs Short hair coat. Better quality from a central vacuum supply (look for stair attachment). Its about 30 to 40 dollars but at least this will withstand use for at least 4 years as my experience rather than FOUR USES.

I bought this in January. Due to cancer related surgery I was not able to use it today 02/28. I used it on a wool rug for 10 minutes and it jammed up. I unscrewed the connection fitting and opened it all up. I cleaned out a build up of hair and went to re-assemble the unit. No matter hard I tried it did not work. No obvious broken parts... reassembled using pix. We cannot get it to work. I wantareplacement or refund.

2 stars only because it did work well to pick up the hair but after the initial use the shaft and bushing on one end of the spindle actually melted apart from the hair getting jammed in. Needless to say I would not recommend this product as it is poorly engineered overall despite the fact it does effectively pick up hair off cloth surfaces.Second use and the bushings melted again. Returning.
