Better than advertised

Even though this has 2x the LED's it didn't seem 2x brighter then the ones they replaced

Bought these to replace the lighting in our new (to us) camper, and WOW did they ever light up that dim interior! Great value. I highly recommend, but just be aware—better lighting will showcase the dust and dirt you thought you’d got!

Purchased for interior ceiling light bulb replacements in my 1996 to 2004 year model Keystone Fifth Wheel Camper to replace the 12 volt incandescent bulbs.I purchased the brightest ones Super Bright or whatever they are called and not the warm white ones and am very pleased with them.I replaced all 17 interior bulbs and 1 exterior bulb and these bulbs live up to the claims of greatly increasing the lumens and making it very much brighter in the camper,I have early cataracts and do not see well in dim light.No issues in installing these and worked fine so apparently the polarity in my fixtures is correct.One of my campers fixture sockets was rusted and corroded and I used a battery terminal brush to clean it up and the replacement worked fine in that socket as well.I would estimated about a four fold increase in brightness in the camper interior (as well as the one on the exterior by the door) over the incandescent bulbs brightness.They do have have a pleasing fluorescent type natural daylight like white color and do not have a bluish color (nor yellowish color of the warm white option) as I have read that some makers brightest replacements do.I purchased these because they have the 80 SMD LED’s and am glad I did. These are probably the brightest ones you will find.These do not have the metal cages supporting the LED’s but I do not expect there to be an issue with life longevity even though ones with metal cages are supposed to be the most durable.I am very pleased!Sincerely,Ronald L. First, light is actually white. Not warm (yellow) or cool / daylight (blue). Color is comparable to the incandescents I am replacing in my RV, but noticeably brighter. I'm very pleased with this.Now the issue. Short version: see picture. About half of these have little metal flakes hanging off the top circuit board. Scrape them off with a utility knife just to be extra safe.Long version: the top circuit board appears to be manufactured with plated through-holes to guide cutting it out into a circle shape. When they cut it, some of the plating remains and can be loose and possibly fall off, especially being using in a vibrating and moving environment like an RV. Being that the entire bulb is exposed circuit boards, a loose piece of metal is not a good thing to have around exposed circuits. While it probably wouldn't do much harm, you're better safe than sorry.I'm only taking a star off the ease of installation rating for this issue, but not off the overall rating, because these were the cheapest actually-white LED 1156's I could find. So a few seconds to scrape loose metal off each bulb is acceptable for the price.

Ordered the 10-pack. I have only tried maybe 5-6 of the bulbs, but they've all worked fine. They LOOK delicate, but I've dropped one and I had to really force another one in to an old rusty socket - both held up and worked as expected. So, they're more durable than you'd think by looking at them.As you can see from the photos they are decidedly 'whiter' than the incandescent bulbs (the 120v fixture on the right with glass dome included for reference) - almost to the point of being blue. It's definitely not as 'warm and inviting', but having a truer white can be really nice sometimes, depending on your needs. I would say the light is also brighter, but not extremely so. I'd say maybe 25% to 50% brighter.The other thing I noticed is how much cooler these bulbs are. I checked the temperature of the same fixture after several hours of running the incandescent and the LED (with the translucent cover on). As you can see the LEDs don't run nearly as hot. Of course the bulbs themselves get hot (over 200°), but still not as hot as incandescents, which can get up to 300°.Of course, the main benefit of these is the lower current draw. The incandescent bulbs draw 1.5 amps (at 12 volts), and the LEDs draw 0.25 amps. So, if all you're running is lights, your battery will theoretically last 6 times longer using the LEDs. That alone was worth the upgrade.

Bought for our truck camper, and while supposedly using less energy than incandescent, they still put out quite a bit of heat which was unexpected. They also don't seem a bunch brighter than the incandescents. There are better designs. For the money, I guess that they are a good value. If you're looking to make your battery bank last longer, I'd look elsewhere.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this for my RV. The 1st was to replace all existing 12v incandescent 1141 bulbs (regardless of their operational status). Since I used the entire pack previously, it was necessary to obtain more when I needed to replace outdoor bulbs.Both the sidewalk & porch light uses the same light cover & 12v incandescent 1141 bulb, after I figured out which inside switch operate this light confirmed it was out (after borrowing one of these bulbs now inside). I ordered two new exterior light covers to replace old dirty & broken covers to cover the new super bright 12v LED lights going underneath.Both porch light by the door & front sidewalk light received the same treatment. Brighter & wider coverage. Fabulous enhancement.

delivery was so quick. product is top quality. and the price was cheaper than me actually going to the nearest store to buy a similar item. i installed these inside out popup trailer and it is so much brighter than the original lighting. definitely recommend product and seller.

Youve been fooled before, buying some LED that performed lower than your regular bulbs? Look no further. This is THE one youve been craving for! If it lasts a while, definetly worth the price!!

Great lights for my RV. Are much brighter than the stock lights and provide a nice, crisp white light.
