Color of light in reddish-yellow, not golden yellow. Feel unpleasant for few days or may irritate. Body made up of plastic. Thick and wide rim. Three in one light option is the only attraction.

Murphy 10W vs. Phillips 12W 3Colour Surface Lights
Pros:* Costs1/3rd of what Phillips does. Murpy is value for money.Cons:* If the surface lights are mounted anywhere above fans, shadows are more pronounced. Phillips distributes light better.* As Murphy has a rim, ceiling corner gets a shadow area which does not look nice.* Murphy has clip type plastic bracket where as Phillips has metal screw type mount. Build quality as a whole is definitely better in Phillips.* Turn on times of individual Murphy lights are slightly different. In case you have multiple lights connected to single switch, if you are quickly toggling switch to get desired shade, sometimes one of the lights remain out of sync in terms of shade. This means you will have to turn off all lights and wait for a reset.* Both these lights lack a 'last shade used' memory function.Personal Preference:* Murphy has all 3 shades a little towards blue compared to Phillips.
