Liquid Water Softener, 32 Oz (Pack of 2)

Cannot find this product in the store but was able to find it on Amazon love it when I can find products that are no longer in the stores.

I did a couple of loads using only my detergent & 2 capfuls of Calgon for each. I’m wondering if my eyes are deceiving me….my whites and colors don’t seem to have that dingy look after washing. I see their real colors. It’s not easy to find but I’ll make sure to stock up whenever I can find it. I’m surprised that with the Florida water being so horribly hard this isn’t in every supermarket.

I’m trying for the first time, always used the powdered softener. The only problem I see so far is they were leaking. The covers were not on tight apparently so they were leaking when I received them. Nothing major seems to me. It would be easier to use the powdered.

I have very hard well water. I was going through a lot of laundry detergent and my clothes just didn't smell or look clean and I'm not one of those people who need their clothes to smell like flowers but I do want them to smell clean. I use 1 cap full and one pod or half the amount of liquid detergent. My cloths smell clean and have really brightened up. So if you have hard water give it a try.

The product itself is always great. But every time we open the box, the jugs have some of the liquid product all over themselves. The lids aren't screwed on tight enough & don't get taped down well enough for transport, that's the only downside.

I use Calgon in a formula that also contains washing soda and borax. I use it to strip white towels and bring them back to white. It helps to use Calgon if you have hard water. It met my expectations.

Works really well to soften the hard water in my washing machine. I throw a bunch straight in the drum, easy peasy!

Two bottles arrived leaking. If the shipper had put security tape around the bottle necks, this likely would not have happened. The product is a “must-have” in my house; I wish Reckitt would bring the EU powder version to Canada.
