Sturdy and well built
Simple, its a sturdy well built C Stand. You have to really crank down in it to stop it from spinning. The legs are hard to open and close. But I guess that can be a good thing as well.

Love it
Liked it so much, I bought another. Just wish there was the option for the longer extension arm. Also note that this is the "pro" version of the stand. The knob handles are not symmetrical. They're a bit curved sort of like an S. Not sure exactly how to describe that but it was actually the selling point for me. I love this style of knob and for whatever reason they're hard to find as even Godox email support didn't seem to understand the difference even after much back and forth (they were super helpful tho).I had to order a longer boom arm with the same style knobs but couldn't find one in black which is a shame cuz it looks pretty sweet in black.

It's a Beast!!
I have only used it a couple of times and it has performed flawlessly. I use it to hold up a microphone boompole and it does a great job. I have been looking at LED lights and I am sure this C-Stand will easily hold the light and softbox. The build quality is very good. I did give it 4 stars for light weight but would have given it 6 stars for value so I figure it still averages as a 5 star C-Stand. I am glad I ordered the black one as it matches many of my existing gear. This is the first Neewer product I have purchased and I will likely be looking much closer at their products in the future. Very happy with the purchase.

Solid build and worth it.
Solid build, it's heavy, sturdy. Only thing I would complain is the legs are not the easiest to close and store.

I love it, Heavy duty and great look. Its perfect for the studio!
My first C stand and I love it. I wanted to go for a chrome version but I didnt want to drop the bank on them. Construction on this stand is very good and the height is great. The stand works perfectly. Very heavy and doesnt tip over unless its very much unbalanced. I still have sandbags for it.Impresseivly I had my two kids hang on the arm while it was extended and with the large foot facing toward the weight, The stand didnt tip or budge. ( I need to find the photo for this!!) Its a solid stand. maybe Neewer could release this stand in chrome!?! I would pick up another one for sure. Nice work!

At first glance -
I noticed that I can't tighten down the knuckle enough to prevent it from spinning/slipping. Hawaii is very windy and I have a feeling keeping my modifiers and lights in place will be an issue. Because of this I would have a hard time recommending this stand outside of a studio setting.

It's a bunch of metal, hard to mess up! Thanks for keeping it affordable.
Neewer is really gettin' up there! Super glad to see them producing heavier metal stands and accessories (rather than flimsy light stands and extenders who's pins rip out and plastic doodles that hardly pass for the real thing *cough* "matte box" *cough*). The knuckle is great, the arm isn't amazing. Definitely keep it but use the arm with lighter objects (I wouldn't trust the way the end-pin is attached with a Fresnel or a light panel with a V-Mount battery attached).Overall, crazy good value, and I intend to keep buying more as my business expands!

Loved it!!
Loved it so much, I bought a second one. So heavy, it doesn't need sand bags.

Awesome with an easy MUST DIY TWEAK
First off, it's taller than stated here. The central column itself is 131cm, and the minimum assembled height with the central column attached to the turtle base is 153cm.I kept looking around on Amazon and this one was the cheapest, except for the 2 pack from Neewer (which is even cheaper). I'm very impressed with it. It's reassuringly heavy and solid. The black finish looks great.Looking at the reviews for the chrome finish version, one reviewer pointed out a flaw in the engineering, which led to his grip head breaking. So, I looked into it. Both grip heads have the same issue. Basically, after taking it apart (very easy to do without any tools) you'll be left with the main body of the grip head and one screw. The issue is that the body of the grip head has 15mm of thread and the screw is screwed in only about 4 threads (7mm). With a 14mm wrench, I unscrewed the nut (meant to secure the screw in place), took the nut out completely (which will leave you with about 13mm of thread on the screw) and mounted the screw back all the way in, tightening it with a pliers. You might secure it further with a drop of super glue on the thread before screwing it back in. I didn't. That's it. If you have the tools around, it takes just a few minutes to do both grip heads. Reassemble the grip head (if in doubt, just ask your mom to help you) and enjoy your awesome stand!

Less attention to details and very dangerous to use as boom arm
Bought this for the price and thought I can do the DIY tweak as someone here posted in the reviews. Basically the thread has been grinded off and the screw can't be removed inorder to increase the length of thread. I wouldn't risk using this as a overhead boom arm. I have posted pics so that all can see where the defect is.Also the powder coating on the handle is not top quality and rust inside is evidentHope Neewer is listening and insert long thread instead of short ones!

Strong and sturdy
Extremely impressed with the build quality 👏Very sturdy and would feel safe with my equipment on top. It's heavier and larger than what I thought but that's nothing to complain about, it means better quality

Has teeth
I bought this for microphones. I wonder why I've been buying mic stands for so many years.
