Too big. Sizing down. Excellent quality
I should have stuck with my gut and bought a medium but I was worried about the low weight suggestions. The large was able to to tightened down - the issue is the chest strap for my dog cut right into his neck. So I’m exchanging for a medium. 3 year old Frenchie 24lbs of love and muscle you can barely see the chest strap it’s buried under his neck wrinkles.

Nice carrier
We have an older dog who gets tired easily after brief walks, which is why we started shopping for a carrier. This was our 2nd carrier to try, the other one was a complete fail & return. This one fits our dog good. The only two complaints are that it is awkward to get them in it because you have to fit their tail thru the hole while they're squirming around, and it's not particularly comfortable for human host. There are lots of straps, so you'll want a friend to help buckle and align everything. Some of the straps could be bigger/wider/more padded to add comfort. It was OK to get him in while we were at base camp. Then we let pup down to walk midway through, only to put him back in after a few hundred yards and we completely missed the tail hole which left him side-saddle in the harness for the last leg of the trip. I'm sure this is just some things to try to figure out as we go.. For what it's worth, pup was content while he was in the pack, it just looked weird with legs forward :)

Not too shabby
I have a XL frenchie, I ordered a M first but realized she grew a bit bigger. Changed it out to a L (she’s almost 30lbs) and she does not seem to mind the carrier at all. It’s comfortable, and feels light and breathable. Not up against her neck where it’s uncomfortable.Nice material. A bit annoying with all of the straps but you get what you paid for especially if you want it to last and keep your pup safe.Otherwise. It’s cool

"Finally, it happened to me..." Grateful for this Excellent Dog Pack Carrier!
Quoting a song there to be funny. Seriously though: FINALLY ! Like many animals who are not crate-trained from birth, my dog has zero want to be in any type of small transporting enclosure. Unfortunately, she is old now and cannot walk long distances, so I need to be able to move her quickly, further and faster. There are a lot of places she can still enjoy, like the beach, but she just can't do the whole trek anymore from the car across the sand dunes. I have been unable to get her into any kind of carrier. Carrying her without support is getting too heavy and difficult for me. When the answer to all my problems, this PetBonus dog backpack arrived, I was able to easily use it, put it on my dog like a harness, and pick her up like a baby to carry as a front pack. She tried to escape at first, but then quickly became calm and cozy. Her body felt at ease. Moving forward, I know she will love this, for all the places she can now go again. For me, it is so much easier and lighter to carry her with the padded back support. This is so amazing and very well designed and made! I got a size Large for a 19 pound dog that measures 24 inches around the her chest and 20 inches neck base to tail start. It fits her and me perfectly on the tight small setting. You can easily expand 5 more inches of chest and dog length. I am extremely grateful for this product that will enable me and my senior dog to enjoy her last days together in fabulous places. Many thanks!

Not for corgi or dachshund.
Measured my corgis. Large should fit my 20lb corgis. Body wise fit. However soon as I began to hoist them up. The way the backpack grabs. It chokes them. Wouldn’t recommend for a long back dog.

Nice for 10 lb. dog. Looks really funny, but works great.
Nice for 10 lb. dog. Looks really funny, but works great. Our 16 yr. old puppy can't walk like she used to, so she ends up riding in the front pouch. What I don't like so much is trying to carry it with me or wearing it before we put her in it. It is kind of bulky. Also, it can be a bit difficult to put on by yourself. One of the buckles are behind you.

Quality carrier for your furry family member.
Our dog who is almost 30 pounds has some issues with her shoulder. We decided to try this out for longer hikes and bike rides to offer her some relief and so that our family pet could also be with us more and not at home alone. The material is high quality, padded, and the straps sit nicely on your shoulders. The fit is secure enough that we don't worry about our dog falling or jumping out and there's a way to leash your dog to the carrier too. We've been quite happy with this even if we get some interesting looks out on the trail!
