Simple, durable and inexpensive robotics platform.
While simple and not very sophisticated, the kit builds into a robust platform for a small tracked robot.If you need a solid, well thought out tracked robot platform, this is hard to beat for around $20.

Robot army, here I come.
Good. It is the foundation of my robot army to take over the planet. Easy to assemble and you will need to adjust the tracks to fit which needs some thin punch or something. Overall perfect for starting your own robot army to challenge mine after take over.

Would not buy again.
No track tension adjustment- have to shorten treads to use out of the box. Poor idler mounting hole placement& hole too large. I cut apart platform until I had 4 slotted L brackets for rollers and motor mounts, and fabricated frame from 1/2 x 1/8” aluminum stock, mounted brackets using slots for take-up adjustment (had to bend 2 brackets backwards- always iffy with light gauge Al). Would be much easier to make out of polycarbonate. Motors tool along smartly at 6vdc and tread width fits drive sprocket well.
